Greek Mythology Roleplay

Kahlen 
Kahlen walked up to the big house. "What're you two up to?" She asked Katie and James.

Jade
She lay still as the girl carefully unwound her bandages, biting her lip as the medic carefully cleaned some blood away. But it kept coming, and the girl hurried for more bandages. "We need to get this bleeding down. If it keeps up, the blood loss could kill her." Jade winced. "That was very tactful," she murmured. The girl cleaned away some of the blood, then wrapped Jade tightly with clean bandages. After wrapping the wound, the girl pressed on it. "Ouch." Jade said, which did not at all match with the agonizing pain that was reflected in the dull color of her eyes.

James
 James nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard Kahlen's voice.
 "Nothing at all!" he yelped, wiping his eyes hastily. She heard everything didn't she? Oh gods I'm done for.

Katie
"No, James, because-" Katie was cut off by Kahlen coming over. "I was just telling James about Harley." Katie sighed, running her fingers through her hair. "About what she was like..... before the accident."

Alex
Alex remained stone-faced at the blood - he had seen a lot of it in his life, and it was nothing new. "Do you want some ambrosia, or something?"

Kahlen 
"Yeah. I have a feeling that wasn't it, but I'm just not gonna ask." She huffed. "Anyone else worried that my brother's not coming on the quest? From what happened earlier, I think we'd need him."

James
 James exhaled shakily, sliding down the wall and sitting on the ground. He pulled his knees close to his chest and just sat there, staring out at the rolling fields. People are complicated. I was probably better off without them, he told himself.
 "And they were better off without you," a gravelly, feminine voice whispered in his head.
 "Who- what-?" James started, jerking his head up and looking around frantically.

Jade
She nodded. "Yeah." The medic girl was totally concentrated on her task of applying pressure to stop the bleeding. Jade was tired of being in pain, and just wanted to get it all done and over with. She lifted the water bottle from where she had set it down on the cot, twisting off the cap and tipping water into her mouth. The water rushed out faster than Jade could swallow, and spilled all over her shirt, soaking the bandages and Jade. She and the medic both cursed in ancient Greek simultaneously.

Kahlen 
Kahlen cocked her head at James. "Voices?" She asked sympathetically, with a hint of panic. 

Alex
Alex shook his head tiredly. "It's so weird that I can understand that."

Katie
Katie turned at James' change in tone. "Oh no." She muttered, crouhing down next to him. "If it's a voice don't-" She yelped, covering her ears and a loud ringing noise in her head started, stopping her from talking.

James
 "Yeah..." he croaked, his gaze still darting around. A voice taunting him about everything that he already told himself wasn't something that he would benefit from, that was for sure. He shuddered, pressing himself against the wall as much as he could.

Ethel
 Ethel was snapped out of her daze by Kahlen's arrival. She stepped closer to Kahlen, surprised to see Katie and James engaged in what looked to be a pretty serious conversation. It's about the pact, isn't it? She's telling him. I can't decide if that's a good or bad thing.

Jade
The medic took off the bandages, and then stared at the wound in surprise. "What the-" the girl stammered. Jade looked at Alex, brow furrowed, not sure she wanted to see whatever the girl was surprised at. Usually she felt queasy when she looked at her wound.

Bobby
He hurried after Ethel, a bit relieved that whatever was going on seemed to distract her from her "Emotional trauma." "I can run to the dining pavilion and get you a snack," Bobby offered, so she could stay here if she wanted.

Kahlen 
Kahlen crouched next to them. "Who is it this time?" She asked the voice. "I told you to leave once already. I don't want to do it again, but I will."

Katie
Katie keened, the high pitched noise too much for her as she dug her nails into her head, drawing blood.

Alex
"I-" Alex cut himself off. "It's...." All he was looking at was a roughly circle scar, no blood or open wounds or anything. "A gods blessing, maybe?" The medic muttered, and Alex just nodded dumbly.

Ethel
 "I'll come with," Ethel murmured, finding it hard to drag her eyes away from Katie. She knew for a fact that Kahlen didn't trust anyone, so she figured that Kahlen was far less likely to spill information than Katie was. Ethel knew that she had made a pact with Katie, but she couldn't help but question the girl's motives.

Kahlen 
"Stop," she hissed. "They've done nothing to you. Leave. Them. Alone."
