Kahlen 
"Oh, Aphrodite, my dad, everyone in general." She stood up. "Thanks," she said as she walked out, bumping him accidentally as she left.

Bobby
He stood from his chair and looked down at Ethel. "Can you stand or do you need help?" Bobby asked, his tone concerned. Emotional trauma? What had happened?

Katie
Katie raised an eyebrow. "That was an "I have something I need to say but I don't want to say it." Noise, James." 

Alex
"Oh." Came from Alex, in the littlest voice possible. He had just been happy, finally found someone who cared..... to have it ripped away like that was devastating.

Ethel
 "I can stand," Ethel grumbled, a bit too hostilely. She shot him an apologetic look as she basically rolled off of the cot. She wasn't in any pain, but she still had a difficult time getting her bearings. Maybe going outside will help, she told herself, dragging her feet as she shuffled towards the door. Once she opened it, the breeze hit her in the face. She sighed, finally able to clam down a bit.

James
 His heart started pounding. What do I do what do I do what do I do I wasn't ready to talk about this because I have no clue what's going on someone HELP ME. He tried to steady his breathing as best as he could and hesitantly looked at Katie.
 "Bobby and Ethel. Are they..?" he started, too freaked out to finish the question.

Kahlen 
As she walked, she tried to convince herself that she'd bumped Auberon on accident. He's just another boy, she told herself. He's just like the rest. But he'd made sure she was okay. He'd had the nerve to carry her all the way to the Apollo cabin, and then he'd risked being slapped by asking if she was okay. Kahlen appreciated bravery. He is NOT special. I definitely do not like him. I've only known him for a few hours. There's no way... she gave up trying to dismiss her feelings.

Katie
"Um..." Katie chewed at her knuckle absently. "From what I've seen, I'd say so? I'm not 100% sure though, so don't quote me on that." She peered down at James curiously. "Why do you ask?"

Jade
She opened her mouth, about to apologize in a tiny whisper, when a thought struck her. She rocketed into a sitting position, ignoring the stabbing pain in her stomach, and turned to Alex. "Wait. If I give into this, the Voice wins. They'll prove again they control me." She paused, and her voice hardened slightly. "And they don't." With that, she reached out and tugged Alex into a kiss.

James
 "Um, no reason!" James responded way too quickly, practically squeaking. He knew that there was no getting out of the conversation at that point, but he couldn't think straight and was seriously regretting saying anything.

Bobby
He followed Ethel loyally, fidgeting with his jacket zipper. He had just admitted to liking her, and she said she might like him back. He didn't know what to think. His mother would disapprove, he knew, telling him satyrs were supposed to marry nature spirits. He shrugged and stepped out the door next to Ethel.

Katie 
"Hun." Katie said, knowingly. "What's up?"

Alex 
Alex grinned into the kiss, but pulled away and gently pushed Jade back down. "You're never going to get better if you don't stop moving."

James
 "I... Can you just guess?" he pleaded, his face pale and his eyes panicked. He grabbed the hilt of one of his knives and carefully pulled it out of its sheath, hoping to distract himself by focusing on his reflection on the blade.

"I'll be fine," she scoffed, but the throbbing pain and the steadily soaking bandages provided proof to the contrary.  

Kahlen
"You're Kahlen," she told herself. "You're determined, strong, stubborn, and you don't let your feelings get in the way. You especially don't like boys you've known for a few hours, even if they are brave." She sighed. Why couldn't life be straightforward and simple?"

Katie
Katie thought for a second. "Oh." She watched a couple campers run from the dining pavillion to the cabins. "I would say I'm sorry, but that seems like a cop out."

Alex
"Sure you will." Alex sighed, and beckoned over a girl with a red medic armband.

James
 "Sorry for what, exactly? That I'm a literal mess? Because trust me, I know," James mumbled, narrowing his eyes at the ground. At that point, tears had started streaming down his face, despite him having managed to hold them back for most of the conversation.
