Auberon looked down understanding how she felt. "Don't act upon it," he said softly. "Let yourself hurt; it shows that you really care. And I know you did care about Bobby, and you care about everyone in the quest."

She wiped at her eyes again. "It's hard to let them go. I know I could have done more."

Auberon nodded understandingly. "I know," he said soothingly.

Alex
"What's done is done, love. And I know that sound's like a really mean thing to say but, we just kind of have to grin and bear it, I'm afraid." Alex murmured, longing to, but not getting any closer.

"Yes you can," Auberon said as another shot of pain went up his side. "Look, I understand it is hard losing someone you cared about, and feeling as if it were your fault. But you can't believe that. If I had let myself believe that years ago... I wouldn't be with you right now," he said looking down. "And you're probably the greatest thing that has ever happened to me." he shifted uncomfotably as another shot of pain went up his side and through his chest.

Auberon felt around his side to see if he could get his rib to heal again. No luck. He sighed painfully and sat down against the wall to relieve the pain a bit.

"Don't be," he shrugged. "Honestly I don't even know how you got in here," his mind suddenly reminded him that Outlaw was somewhere around. Hopefully she was fine. "Or how I even got any of us in here..." he mumbled.
