Eudora
Eudora stood up and took a deep breath. Her mind was made up.

Alex
Alex barely heard Jade's question. "Oh, he's-"

Kahlen

Jade
"Oh, h-hello," Jade stammered, jumping from his sudden appearance. She glanced at Alex nervously and tugged the blanket again to keep it up over her burns.

Alex
Alex sent her a reassuring smile, then turned back to Anteros. "Look how big you are!" The god laughed in disbelief. "When I last saw you, you were half that size." Alex grinned at his friend. "Oh, by the way, Jade, this is Anteros. Ant, this is Jade." Thr god stroked his chin almost thoughtfully. "Oh? So this is Jade? I've heard a lot about you, hun."

Jade
Jade shifted slightly, moving to grab the water bottle but stopping herself right before her hand left the blankets. "How have you heard about me?" she asked, smiling. He's not going to care about my burns. But for some reason she was feeling self-conscious and kept checking to make sure the blanket was in place.

Kahlen

Anteros smiled at Jade gently, waving his hand in a dismissive gesture. "Oh, word gets around fast about relationships and the like. All good things, though."

Eudora
Eudora nodded at Kahlen as she passed her, and walked over to Ethel. "I'm sorry Ethel," she said innocently.

Jade
"Well, that's good, I guess," she said with a small laugh. Jade paused and glanced at Alex again. She wasn't sure if Anteros knew what was wrong or if he'd be able to help, but she hoped he would.

Alex
Alex turned back to Anteros. "So how bad is it?" He asked, and the god frowned, looking from Alex to Jade, wincing. "It's not looking good. Whoever cast the spell sure knew what they were doing." He admitted, and Alex quietened.

Jade
She frowned. "What spell?" Tired of laying down , Jade slowly moved into a sitting position, keeping the blanket at her shoulders.

Alex
Alex sighed. "The one Noah cast on you, love." He raised his eyebrow at Anteros. "So? Can you fix it?" The blonde paused. "Well... her love for you at the moment isn't exactly as requited as you'd like, Lexi." He admitted. "This could take some time."

Jade
Noah cast a spell on me? Jade followed their dialogue with little comprehension. She opened her mouth to ask what spell, but the hum intensified in the back of her mind and began marching forward. Normally she would let it, for it soothed her headache and took away the confusion, but she wanted answers, not relief. "The hum," she said quietly, "it's coming to take all my thoughts away."

Kahlen
As Eudora walked by, Kahlen was able to decipher her presence to more definite possibilities. She did not like the possibilities. "I'm coming," she murmured under her breath, the comment directed toward the presence.

Denver
"I'm coming." He walked away, shaking his head. "What did he do this time?"
