Auberon hesitated. He didn't want to talk about it at all, or even think about it. "Nothing..." he mumbled. "Nothing at all."

Alex was actually kind of excited to get back in contact with his friend - they hadn't spoken in years, and they had been such good friends, too. He held out his hand to Jade, to take her's, but paused respectfully. "Am I allowed to take your hand? It'll only be for a second." He remembered how much Jade had hated when Noah had just done things without asking.

James

Eudora
After Eudora had exited Jade's tent, she atarted realizing how badly her burns were hurting. She sighed and thought about it for a minute, then decided that maybe Bobby had a plant that could help the pain go away? She walked over to where he was tending to Katie (feeling a bit awkward that she was asking him while he was concentrating).

Eudora looked over at Ethel as she asked the question. Ethel seemed to be a little on edge that she asked, but she wasn't sure why. "I was just asking if there was something to help with my burns," she said. She gave a look that said there's no need to get touchy. Her eyes drifted down slowly to Ethel's hand, and every part of her tensed.

Eudora put her hand behind her back and formed a flame just in case. "Oh, I've already been on your bad side. I survived it once I can survive it again," she said staring her eyes down. "And what makes you think I'm trying to weave my way around you?"

Bobby
"Hey, girls, calm down," he cried, digging in his pockets. He withdrew a few leaves and handed them to Eudora. "Chew them into a poultice and then you can rub it onto the burns. It'll help." He walked over to Ethel and gently removed her hand from her knife hilt. "It's okay," he said quietly, giving her a small smile. He returned to Katie's side and glanced to James. "I sure hope they heal. I've never seen smoke affect someone's eyes in such a way."

Jade
Jade nodded. "Sure. But be careful where you touch. My burns start at the wrist." She wasn't exactly sure why her hands, too, hadn't burned.
