Katie grit her teeth and was proud to only letting out a strained whimper as Bobby reapplied the eyedrops, sturggling to fist her hands as they were slick with blood, and a metallic taste filled her mouth - she had bitten into her cheek in an effort to stay quiet. "Sorry." She whispered through clenched teeth to James, who's hand she'd probably broken by now, honestly.

Bobby
"What happened to your eyes?" he asked, hoping he might be able to fix the issue if he knew the root problem.

Eudora
Eudora felt some relief flush over her as she realized everyone was okay. She sighed quietly to herself and picked at a scab that was forming on her arm from the burn. "Don't you ever wonder why you were picked for the quest?"

"Smoke, I think." Katie managed to say, barely feeling the tears falling down her face against her burnt skin. "I think that was when I cut my neck as well."

Alex
Alex just couldn't help it. He had to see if Jade was okay. He cursed, and appeared back in her tent. "Hey, love." He grinned, although something still wasn't feeling right.

Jade
"All the time." She sighed. "My dad apparently has big expectations from me. I don't know why anybody thinks I'm going to save the world, or Olympus, or even my friends. I keep getting hurt, and I really don't think I'm up for this." She looked at her hands and realized that some water had come from the water bottle and had begun swirling in her hand. She put it back in. A voice sounded near her and she looked up. "Alex?" She shot a glance at Eudora, not sure if she could see him as well. \

Bobby
He nodded. "Hm, okay. I'm hoping the poultice I made for your neck will work." He handed her an ambrosia square. "This will help with both your eyes and your neck."

Eudora shrugged. "I don't think its that we were meant to save the world, we just have a desire to do so," she said thoughtfully. "I should probably see if anyone needs help," she said standing up. "Bye, and get better soon."

She looked back up at Eudora. "That... was profound." She grinned.

Eudora smiled. "Well I try," she said as she started walking out. "Please please please, get better."

"I will," she said as Eudora left. She turned back to Alex. "Hi," she said with a smile. She had this weird feeling, like something had happened but she couldn't quite remember it. She had wanted him to come, but she couldn't recall why. The hum in her mind grew louder, and she let it flow over her, drowning everything else out. She sank back into the bed, having sat up slightly to see Eudora leave, and blinked when she saw Alex again. "Oh," she said with a laugh. "I must be going crazy. I forgot you were here for a second." She shook her head, still laughing at herself. "I don't know how I managed to do that, you just got here."

Alex kept a straight face, cursing his sister to the depths of tartarus. Of course she just had to ruin the one seemingly stable thing in his life. "It's fine." He smiled, making sure to keep his distance, although, it wasn't like he had the energy to appear solid enough to come in contact with her, anyways. "How are you feeling, anyways?"

Katie nodded, wiping her hand as best she could on her shirt, and reaching out for the ambrosia, trying to judge where exactly Bobby was. She misjudged, and almost dropped the ambrosia. God, she hated feeling useless like this.
