Character Giveaway

These are just some random designs I was goofing around with. I don't really feel like they're complex or unique enough to sell so I'm going to do a giveaway for them. 

How to win? Give them a name, what you'd use them for, and a little bit of a backstory for the horse. It doesn't have to be a novel, but I'd like some thought put into them. And try to keep the cliches to a minimum please.

These are roughly based off Thoroughbred colors, and they have funny/punny racing type working names currently. If that gives you any inspiration. It's okay if you change the breed.

New Name: Miss Behaving because for some reason the fact that there's no space between the words in her current name bothers me
Used For What?: as a domesticated character; might get some art
Backstory: Miss grew up like a regular racehorse, and she did rather well in her first year of racing as a two-year-old. She only won a few of the races that she was in, but she never placed worse than fourth. However, two races into her three-year-old season, her owners had a falling out and she ended up getting sent to auction. She became a polo horse for a while, and suffered some minor leg injuries over time because of it. When she was four, the polo farm where she then lived was sold to someone who didn't want the horses, so she ended up at a rescue facility. After a few months, she was ready to be adopted out. However, after some unsuccessful attempts at finding her a home, the rescue staff got in contact with one of her original owners who offered to buy her back. It took a lot of work, but she was back on the racetrack at age five. She is current six years old and going strong. She is a highly acclaimed racehorse, and her owner gave her the nickname "Lucky", because he was lucky to get the chance to own her again.

New Name: Pirate's Gold
Used For What?: Character with art, mascot for my rescue.
BackStory:
 Pirate started on the track as a 2 year old. He was unfortunately not fast enough for the track and after 2 seasons of minimal performance on the track with only 1 win and 2 shows out of 9 starts his owner told the trainer that Pirate was no longer wanted. His trainer shipped him to the auctions. Luckily there was a young rider (Tahlia, 23) in search of a new horse in which to train and compete with in 3 day eventing. There were so many horses that had potential here but she could only leave with one. After seeing Pirate's Gold she knew this horse was for her. This horse had a fight in his eyes that said that he wasn't done yet. When his number came up Tahlia knew she would have to do whatever it took in order to take this stunning gelding home.  The only other bidder was a kill buyer and as soon as Tahlia put in a bid they backed down as they are never there to look for a bidding war, just an easy take. Pirate went to the stables that Tahlia trained at. Everyday his new human was there. She groomed him, worked him, and rode him.  After a good day's work Tahlia would offer Pirate part of her bottle of Pepsi. Pirate LOVES a little bit of fizz. On hot days Tahlia brings him an ice pop from the freezer. So far Pirate is making phenomenal steps towards competing with Tahlia, and whether or not he ever becomes a great competitor, Pirate has found his true partner, and he is home.

New name: Skyfire
Used for what? I want to experiment with art. This is my first art thing and I want to try it out.
Backstory:
Skyfire started out wild, born on a rancher's farm. He lived in the hills until he turned 1, and was then captured by the rancher and trained for the racetrack. After a great year with multiple wins, Skyfire was pushed even farther-until he broke his front two legs. The vet who rehabilitated him secretly complained about an abused horse, as Skyfire had been trained with a harsh bit and sharpened spurs. When the authorities came to collect him, they saw the bond that had formed between the vet and Skyfire. The vet started a small rescue barn, and after two years of effort, Skyfire became a cross-country horse for the Olympics. The vet sold him to his rider, who had owned a few horses before. So, after years of chaos, Skyfire was finally able to settle down in a small barn where he rests between cross-country competitions by running in the fields near his original owner's ranch.

Used For What?: A cool ref for more art and just a cool char in general
BackStory: Three year old Oreo (shortened from Overo) had everyone excited as he had a well known dam and sire, so they were all expecting a natural racehorse, but our little overo here came last in every race during the entire track season. It wasn't that he wasn't fast enough for racing, he just obviously didn't enjoy it. Not cut out for racing, they tried him as a steeple chaser and he LOVED it. He wasn't the fastest by a long shot; as he was new to the discipline, but he really did try. A stablehand working at the stud offered to take him with her, as she was leaving work to finish her veterinary degree at a equine inclusive university, and promised that she would bring him back as a well trained jumper. Currently, he is in the stables at her university, where he gets worked daily, and lots of treats ;) So far he has been jumped up to 70cm, but he's definitely getting better.

New Name: She'll keep the name. But she'll have a barn name/nickname of Shenzi
Used For What?: I don't do a lot of RPing but I do want to include her into my little herd of racers which is currently only 2 XD (Indy and currently unnamed )
BackStory: Shenzi was born from top quality racing blood. She began her racing career at the age of 2 and did quite well on the track, unfortunately she wasn't quite up to the standards of her heritage so she was sold off to an independent barn that works on rehabilitation and training. When she arrived she was extremely shy and didn't want to go near her pasture mates, Indy and currently unnamed. (lol I know, great name for this story eh? XD I will have a name for them soon though ) Over time she eventually opened up to the two mares and they created a rather strong bond between them. Shenzi would one day continue her racing career, but for now she makes a great companion and a trainee with her pasture mates.

lol I am so sorry. I really do suck at writing sometimes.. I tried. But mostly I want her because I want a trio of racing weirdos to get up to crazy shenanigans XD

New Name: Cipriano (aka Ano)
Used For What?: Character with art
Back Story: Ano, a dashing bay colt, was first started on the track at the age of 2. Like most young thoroughbreds, he was hot headed and very excitable. While he became more successful and well known int he racing world, Ano's coat began to dull as the seasons changed. His bright bay coat faded to an attractive grey, and a bloodmark formed along the top of his right haunch and down to his left stifle. Ano's unique coat caught a lot of people's eye. After a successful, but long, three years on the track, Ano was retired from the track and was ready for his new life. He was "retired" to a pasture on the racing barn where he was born and raised, and awaited the day until he found his next person. After a few months, he finally met her. A young rider, 18 year old Sophia, who couldn't wait to start training her first OTTB. As soon as they met, they knew it was faith. Along with her parent's help, Sophia took Ano home, where they built their bond. Now, four years later, Ano and Sophia compete nationally in the Hunter/Jumper world
