Aella
The she-wolf stiffened at her Alpha's words, then shifted her weight to the side. "They are not starving because of you." Aella gruffly replied, trying to find the right way to word her next sentence. "We can always try to negotiate friendly terms with River Pack. But if fighting is necessary, we should do whatever it takes. Our wolves could receive training while they still have some strength. I could help train them in the ways of fighting." The Beta got up from her seat, then took a couple steps before craning her head around to look at Arlo. "Just think about it. I understand if you don't want to go that route." Aella picked up her pace, breaking into a trot to see what she could help her pack with. 

Phantom- Alpha- River
phantom nodded at Avril. "u bet" she said in a low tone so the deer wouldn't hear her and run. she swiftly looked over the area around the deer to figure out the best attack plan. "i'll sneak over to those bushes there cause he's bound to head there when he runs, you grab him and once u have a hold on him i'll help u bring him down" she murmured to the she-wolf beside her before slipping away towards the bushes.

Rebel- Hunter- River
she had been out for a while and still hadn't thought of any pranks to pull! she suddenly stopped dead. "Zanus!" she exclaimed to herself, "why didn't I think of that before I walked all this way?" he was also a trickster, surely he would have some ideas, plus 2 was better than one! she ran off to find him.

WhiteRose- Scout- River
she watched the Forest pack's side of the river for a moment longer and than turned and slipped along among the trees. she picked up many wolf scents, including the Alpha's and the Beta's. she went the way where there was the least scents and found herself overlooking the forest on a slight ridge. she settled down and watched the forest for wolves and prey.

Watcher- Omega- Forest
he watched as the wolf Aella talked with the alpha before she trotted off. he noted the worry on the alpha's face and understood it. the prey was scarce, they might have to try and take over River territory, and he'd seen the River pack. and couldn't sleep for several days after. they where strong, and in excellent condition, with their alpha being basically bigger than his, even though it was a she wolf! he didn't want to fight, but decided if need be he would. he then limped off to the river to drink.

Abelia - Hunter - Forest
The large female leaped out from the pushes and snarled viciously towards the doe as she began her pursuit after the prey. Successfully grabbing the doe's attention completely, she began herding her in Lerte's direction. She snapped at the heels of the doe, and managed to get in a scratch or two to weaken her up. "Now!" She called as they began to quickly close the distance between them.

Viper - scout - forest
Viper neared the edge of the territory looking out towards the River pack's, with ears perked his sniffed the air he tempted to cross over. But he thought no over wise and headed back, he wanted to ask the alpha what the plans where. Where they going to stay out or move on and find another place to call home.  He burst into a run as he headed back, picking the alpha's scent up as he did.

Avril - Hunter - River
Avril nodded "sounds like a plan", she headed toward the deer at a crouch approaching it from behind. She took care to keep downwind and watch where she stepped, she was didn't want it to spot her just yet. Once she was just a few feet away she burst into a run snarling as she did, the deer bolted forward towards Phantom as she snapped her jaws nears his feet. She needed to be careful so she wouldn't get kicked, she sped up enough to jump up and grab the right front shoulder. She put her all her weight into pulling it to slow the deer down.

Zanus - Omega - River
Zanus was offered " pup PUP did you just call me a pup, I'm no pup I just know how have fun", he had stopped jumping from side to side "maybe you should learn to relax". He burst forward suddenly and tried to ram into his side, but only in a playful gesture. "Party poopers needs to play" he turned his head and nipped Karo in the side.

Aella
After she was a little ways into the forest, Aella slowed her trot. Most of the pack was out scouting or hunting, which left Aella to her own devices for the time being. She came to a halt to catch the scents of the air. The wolf caught the scent of Viper, and she could tell he wasn't that far away from her. In fact, he was probably moving fast. Aella decided to intercept his path and see what his findings were, setting off again to meet the scout before he made it back to camp. 

Cedar - Lead Scout - Forest Pack

  Cedar entered the camp in time to see the beta, Aella, walk away from the alpha. She could tell from Arlo's expression that he was worried about the fate of his pack. That makes two of us, she huffed internally. Quickening her steps, she trotted toward him.
  "I found a nice copse about a day's journey from here. It's not in River Pack's direction, but rather, it's off our opposite far border. The land is bleak and dry there, but there seems to be plenty to eat. I never reached the trees that I mentioned, but I was very close," she informed him, dipping her head in greeting.

Phantom- Alpha- River
she tensed her muscles as Avril chased the deer. as she suspected, it headed directly towards her hiding spot. as Avril grabbed it's shoulder, she leaped from the bushes and lunged toward the deer, grabbing a hold of it's nose, and pulling the deer down to the ground.

Rebel- Hunter- River
she ran towards camp, where she last saw Zanus. as she burst through the thicket of trees surrounding camp, she saw him teasing Karos into playing. she let out a huff of amusement and layed down to watch the fun begin.

WhiteRose- Scout- River
she watched the forest from her ridge lookout. she saw in the distance the Alpha and Avril bring down a deer, and suddenly Rebel burst through the trees into the clearing, where Zanus was teasing none other than Karos, probably the sternest wolf in camp! even the Alpha was much easier going than Karos.

Watcher- Omega- Forest
Watcher limped towards the river. he thought bitterly of his brutal father, who had killed two of his siblings and wounded him before he had been able escape. he many times thought of it, and his eyes burned as though of his father. he sighed and told himself to get over it, that was behind him now. he limped down the bank to the river and began to lap water.

Aella
The she-wolf waited at the border of the camp for a considerable amount of time before shaking her head irritably and flicking her ears back. I'm wasting time standing around. It's better if he reports to Arlo. Aella thought as she headed down to the river, tossing thoughts around in her head. She was ready to leave this territory. There was nothing here for the pack but starvation and suffering, and Aella would not watch others go through that torture she had once gone through. It didn't matter if this forest was the home of her pack for decades. What would it matter if everybody was dead? It sure wouldn't feel like home anymore Aella shuddered with her thought as she reached the edge of the river bank. She was so absorbed in her thoughts she didn't notice Watcher, the omega. Aella nodded her head in greeting, then averted her gaze back to the water with ears perked, looking for signs of fish. 

Watcher- Forest- Omega
he nodded back at the she-wolf he remembered was called Aella. and watched as she waited for fish. He then turned and limped towards a soft patch of grass nearby, his injured leg dragging slightly on the stones. Stinging pain went through his leg as it caught on a vine. He stopped to untangle it, red fury washing through him along with the pain as he struggled to undo the vine. "Useless thing!!" he snarled at the leg, while attempting to free it from the vine, muttering darkly the whole time.

( was originally going to wait for Remrem to respond to Zanus but it doesn't seem like she will)

Viper - scout - forest
The scent of another wolf hit his nose but only for a second as he headed back to the pack, he recognized the smell but didn't bother to slow. As he neared where the others where he slowed to a trot, ears perked seeing if he could pick up any conversation revolving around the pack and lack of food. Stopping he looked around for the alpha, spotted under a shady tree. He walked over wagging his tail in greeting " I just finished a patrol seeing nothing out of the ordinary sir" he paused, he did want to know what the alpha's plans where regarding the lack of food but he also didn't want to step over a boundary. He decided to ask anyways " I was wondering what your plans are for the pack, I know food is scarce theses day and frankly everyone's on edge".

Avril - Hunter - River
Avril moved slowly toward the head of the deer in order to get closer to the neck, she was glad the deer wasn't difficult to take down. She let go of her grasp of the deer and quickly moved for the neck biting down in order to help with the process of killing it. It wasn't long before she felt the deers life slip away, only after she new for sure did she let go. She smiled wagging her tail "another great hunt and another day with a full belly" she looked over at Phantom wondering if they would be bringing the deer back to the pack or would they be calling them over to eat.

Zanus - Omega - River
Getting no response from Karo he backed off and looked around to find someone one else to mess with, at this point he was about ready to mess with the alpha wherever she was. But as he looking around he spotted Rebel watching both him and Karos, he gave a goofy smile and ran over skidding to a stop making sure he disturbed the dirt around him " whatcha doing".

Phantom- River- Alpha
seeing the question in Avril's eyes, she answered. "we'll call them. It'll be hard to drag through all these brambles and such." She stepped back, and raising her head, let loose with a ringing, haunting howl that echoed through their territory and over the river to the other side.

Rebel- River- Hunter
"being bored that's what" Rebel said to Zanus, and with a mischievious grin whispered to him, "what kinda prank can we pull, and who can we pull it on?" Her danced as she watched to see his reaction.

WhiteRose- River- Scout
as she trotted into camp, she spotted Rebel, Zanus, and Karos. She scanned the camp for any sign of danger, and after reassuring herself all was well for now she stretched out and blinked sleepily.

Storm-Forest-Hunter

Storm trotted through the forest nose to the ground. She was trying to find some prey that she could take back to the camp. after a while she sniffed out a very fresh deer scent.  As she looked up she could see it munching on grass a few feet in front of her. Storm looked around for the best spot to attack from. She then slowly crept up till she was within leaping distance.

Arlo
The male wolf turned at the sound of another wolf's voice, wondering who it was for a moment before familiarity clicked in. "Thank you," he hesitated for just an instant before remembering, "Viper. I don't know what my plans are, but I know what they have to be. We need to move, that's clear." Pointing his muzzle towards Ceder to acknowledge her, he added, "Ceder here seems to have found another option. Ceder?" He paused for a moment, gathering himself to ask a question he could only hope had a good answer. "You say it's dry. Would there be enough water for the pack there? I wouldn't much enjoy tangling with the River pack over trespassing, but the pack might have a few complaints if I led them to a place where we'll have no water to drink, either," he said dryly, hoping she didn't take his style of humor as offensive. Some did, and while he'd never found her that type of wolf, sometimes people surprised him in a bad way.

Lertea
Lerte managed to resist the urge to lunge at the deer, instead waiting cautiously until the large animal was directly in her range. She leapt, but in midair she realized that the deer was coming in from a different angle than she'd anticipated, and her pounce would miss it by just a hair. She muttered something barely audible but obviously filled with incredible frustrated, doing her best to keep out of the deer's line of sight even as she landed, and hit the ground running, trying to get ahead of the panicked, frantically charging animal. She sprinted towards the deer, managing to steer it straight towards a large, thorny patch of brambles, knowing that the deer's detour around it would allow her to get ahead of it, if she took a shortcut. She ducked low, managing to slide through a sort of tunnel where the brambles hadn't grown, and felt a prick of pain as she made it out of the brambles, but ignored it, scoring a tight grip on the doe's back leg. She glanced behind her, hoping Abelia got here soon. She couldn't fell this thing by herself, especially without further injuring her badly scratched shoulder, which was now more painful than ever.

Errva
Errva woke up awhile later, the moon had arched further through the sky by now, but it wasn't morning yet. She lay in quiet comfort, not thinking about really anything, just relaxing in her cozy spot so she could go over everything that had happened recently without disruption. She wondered briefly what Phantom, being the Alpha, was doing; then moved on to other thoughts. What am I going to do now? she wondered, but she didn't have any duties to fulfill as of yet, so she opted to continue her nap.

(Sorry this has been so inactive, I forgot to post for awhile. Let's get this moving again!)

Cedar - Lead Scout - Forest Pack

 Cedar snorted.
 "Most likely. The moss and deer need something to drink too, you know," she responded sarcastically.
 "But yes. I didn't see any water sources, but there's signs that at least one was in the area," the she-wolf continued, shuffling her feet nervously.
 "I'd only recommend the best possible places. You know that I'm apprehensive about leaving."

Arlo
He hid his smile as she retorted, he was starting to like her. "I see. Perhaps some of the scouts could explore the area more, make sure we'd be able to make a living there," He shook out his thick coat, pondering the situation more thoroughly. He turned to Viper, wondering what he thought. He could certainly use more suggestions. "What's your opinion on the situation, Viper?"
