It would be nice to have more breeds to play around with as a new player, I know there were multiple breeds in the past that got taken out since they weren't popular.  But maybe we can add different new breeds as a beta to see how it goes?

That list is a great place to start, Ulysses Blue! I didn't remember/know about that thread, but that's a helpful resource.

I could see maybe simplifying the list a bit for actual gameplay inclusion:
-Removing the Baroque Pinto in favor of just lumping those crosses into Friesian Sporthorse, since making breed dependent on pattern inheritance could be a bit confusing.
-Nixing the Arabo-Friesian, since I think it would be better for this type of crossbreeding to only allow mixes of two breeds, rather than sorting percentages of three+ breeds.
-Lumping the Aztecas and American Aztecas together as just "Aztecas", as Abbey had remarked in that thread, for clarity's sake.
-Just from a personal standpoint, I'd love to stick Pintabians in there, ignoring the percentage requirements. ;)

Some of those crosses I've never heard of by name, so I'm curious how common or prevalent some of them are. (I am NOT by any means an expert, so my not having heard of Turbo Arabs or Hispano Arabes or Friewalkers as dedicated "breeds" doesn't mean they aren't well-known or well-established. It seems like you looked into them all, and I trust your research!)

Now we just need a similar list of acceptable outcrosses for our current breeds. ;P I'm probably not knowledgeable enough to do so, but I know that lots of stock breeds allow quarter horse outcrosses, and a lot of warmblood breeds allow thoroughbred outcrosses, but I don't have a complete list, and there may be some I'm not aware of.

^ Agreed, there's certainly a few crossbreeds on that list that wouldn't be suitable. I opted to just include everything regardless of suitability, then leave that judgement to Abbey.

The minimum standard I used to judge whether a crossbreed was 'real' or not was that there was a registry somewhere that recognised them as a breed. Some of them are definitely quite obscure though. This may be a factor in whether or not they get added to EV.

And I think a list of accepted outcrosses would be a great idea. Certainly plenty of the crossbreeds listed in that thread accept some outcrosses, and the same can be said of some of EV's existing pure breeds.

I would love to see some new breeds added!
Preferably more heavy horses, or sport horses.
Also cross breeding would be awesome!
I do agree, Having the same horses will not attract as much people. some horses same people. This game might not attract maybe someone who has fjords, donkeys, drafts etc.
