Silver Update
The long-awaited silver update is here! Silver displays separately on bay and black bases now, as in real life, and all breed art files have been modified to reflect this change. Black horses with silver now exhibit the chocolate coat color modification, and the silvery blond mane and tail, with dappling appearing at ZZ (double dominance). Bay horses with silver have a lightened coat and some hints of silver on the black portions of their coat, and a blond mane and tail, and no dappling. These changes were made to better reflect the expression of the silver gene and make the art even more accurate.

Changes
*Add Veteran plushie for players who have been a member for over a year - this will appear at rollover
*Foal art now shows for horses under two years of age, as per the results of the latest site poll
*White markings (tobiano, sabino, etc) now show on grey horses until they are fully greyed out
*A disclosure warning now displays for the coat applicator/randomizer if you attempt to use it on a white horse, clarifying that a coat color change will not be visible
*White is no longer shown as a horse's coat color, in order to reduce confusion; if a horse has not been gene tested its coat color will be listed as Unknown (White). Performing a genetic test will reveal the underlying coat color. If your horse has the white marking and is a bay, the color would then be shown as Bay (White) after the genetic test has been performed.
*Gray/graying is now displayed in parenthesis as well, but does not require an initial genetic test, as the horse's base color is visible at birth.
*Images for both selected parents are now visible on the breeding page
*A grade improvement symbol has been added - this arrow will show before your horse's name (much like the training boost symbol) when its grade is ready to be improved

Bug Fix
*Plushies in your cabinet, and plushies overall, can no longer be traded in to the general store (to prevent accidents)

The mod team is opening applications for new moderators! We are looking for members who are willing helpers, knowledgable in the community, and who have been playing Equiverse for at least a year. There was a bug where a plushie in the cabinet could be traded in on accident - it was fixed. Trading plushies in for something is a different update which isn't happening yet.	Posted by River (#51565) 30th March 2020 at 12:20:06
It says though: "..and plushies overall" but I never saw any option in the store to trade them in (those outside cabinet) - I was actually always looking for such option. Had I known it was possible to trade them in through the cabinet (as a bug), I'd have gladly done so ages ago.... I've got so many unwanted blacks and unis... It was only a special plushie (the lucky one) that got traded from the display cabinet by accident, black and unicorn plushies never were eligible for trade-ins at the general store, because it only takes trade-ins for items you can buy from it. The wording is to clarify that currently there are no plushie trade-ins right now, for any kind. That's a feature that is going to be added later.	Posted by River (#51565) 30th March 2020 at 13:16:32

Wow!! That was a shock to see my two silver black horses lol! It's going to take some getting used to on those two, but they are beautiful. The Gypsy is truly gorgeous, and I think the new coloring is everything we thought it would be and more!!! Amazing work!!! Can't wait for the Veteran plushie...such a long wait...sigh...
