*Missing/Late Foals Bug Masterpost

Hello all! A while back we had a topic going about missing foals where a bunch of foals were being born late. The problem seems to still be happening sporadically. If you are experiencing this problem please post here with all of the relevant information so we can try to isolate and identify where exactly the problem is originating. I'll be locking other topics and sending people here to post to try to tidy up our poor bug board and keep all relevant information in one place. The more information we get about your problems the easier it is to find solutions!

If you've experienced this in the past Month and have gotten your foals feel free to also post here with relevant information.


It is important to note, the Mare will be pregnant for 5 days, locking will inhibit the process on your own mares. When using a Broodmare the foal SHOULD link to your account and locking or lack of progression for the mare by the owner should not influence you receiving your foal. However, locking the stallion did affect the foal due to a previous bug see here for an explanation.

Mares who had the bug before lost their pregnancy heart and notification, and showed on their page a correct foal count, but when visiting the foals page their count was incorrect and one short, i.e. Her page shows 4 foals bred, but her foals page has only three foals. Please do not panic if your foal does not show up immediately.

Other relevant information: This is the second time this mare has failed to send a foal to another player as a broodmare. Shows that she's had 8 foals but in the Foals Of page there are only 6 with the two from being a broodmare missing

A week ago I had some problems with mares not giving birth. I don't remember most information, of even which mares did not give birth. But looking at when the mares where last bred, I guess these horses are the ones that should have given birth on the 14th of April (but did not give birth on that day, or since then).

This next part counts for all the mares that I have just listed.

Stallion ID: No clue
Method for breeding: from mare's page
Type of transaction: own horses
Was either parent Locked (or not progressed) during pregnancy and how long: not sure about being locked, but one day my account did not progress after clicking the button to progress. But the next day, all horses made progress twice.
Date Bred: No clue. All I know for certain is that the foals were supposed to be born on the 14th of April, but I don't know if the mares were locked during their pregnancy. Therefore, I don't know for sure on what day I bred them. I think it was the 9th of April, or either the 8th.

Just want to check and make sure your mare was the broodmare in question, and the foals should be owned by others? Just to clear up any confusion would you mind including their name/IDs as the actual foal owners if you know who they are? Well I suppose they could be the stallion owners, but if it's been a while it may have changed xD

The stallions are still on the accounts that they come up on with the ids in my post. The mare I own. She was bred by others as a broodmare. I have just bred her to one owner in the event that the foal she was supposed to get does not show up.
Edit: the foals should be owned by others not me!

I have 2 missing foals. 1 from >1 month ago (I took a break, came back, still no foal but all others were born). Another foal is still missing that should have foaled probably a week ago.

Both instances, I used player broodmares. Breeding done from the mare's page.

Pair 1: 462230 x 532913 (both horses are now deceased)

Pair 2: 479440 x 577559 (foal was due 4/19)

My homepage counter also says I should have one unborn foal but I know I am missing two. I have no other pregnant mares at the moment so the unborn one has to be one of these.

Birchwood. You need to buy more space under the horse limit. You are are 150/150 so don't have space for your unborn foals.

I really hate to be a bother, but I'm hoping to get my foal back sometime soon. I don't wish to rush anyone, but I'd appreciate it.

Update: I have plenty of space, and one unborn foal.
