Tigerheart

As he followed Stormclaw he looked at his brother in astonishment "why'd you say it in a completely garbled language? Don't screw this up for us" he hissed as they neared the Thunderclan camp. Stormclaw asked their names and he answered for them both "I'm Tigerheart and this is my brother Fuzzystripe and I'm sure you already know we're Shadowclan..."

Stormclaw

He turned back to his followers to ask something and saw the ginger tom hissing at his brother so quickly turned back to pretend he hadn't seen "so urmm what's your names?" he asked quickly. At Tigerheart's response he nodded. Bending to squeeze through the over grown camp entrance he grimaced but when he reached the other side he saw something different, "wow... you two have done loads already...." he paused embarassed for having forgotten his manners. He cleared his voice "Leaftail, Cherrybranch this is Tigerheart and Fuzzystripe the only Shadowclan survivors"

Cherrybranch looked up at the cats. Her eyes rested on Tigerheart. He was good looking, she had to admit that.

Leaftail
He smiled at the new cats. Other survivors. Cherrybranch's eyes lingered on the one tom, and he stiffened slightly. He grinned warmly at the other cats, happy to see that at least Shadowclan had survived the terrible disease. Leaftail stepped up beside Cherrybranch and leaned gently against her, his pelt brushing against hers. "I think we can fix it up, it'll just take some work," he said to Stormclaw. He smiled at Cherrybranch. "She found some catmint, and it smells wonderful in here!"

Stormfur
She stood to her paws and padded to the river. "Well, let's learn this technique, shall we?'

Cherrybranch blinked back to the present at Leaftail's touch. She smiled back at him. Who needs Tigerheart when she has Leaftail. Atleast she was pretty sure Leaftail liked her. She turned to Stormclaw and said," All we need is fresh-kill and nests and we got the start of a camp."

Fuzzystripe started coughing again.

Leaftail
He took a step forward, a bit of concern on his features. Then a slight step back again. "Is..." He shook his head. Foaming-mouth did not cause coughing. He turned to Tigerheart. "Whitecough?" He scented the air slightly, hoping to catch prey-scent. Maybe there was an herb he could find if it was whitecough.

"Tansy" Fuzzystripe rasped, guessing what Leaftail was thinking.

Cherrybranch stood up. "I know where that grows!"

Stormclaw

He was glad his Thunderclan cats accepted the shadow clan survivours, he wanted to help them. The tom noticed the closeness between Cherrybranch and Leaftail with a small, unnoticeable frown ill think about that later he thought. Addressing the current gathering of cats "I think it would be beneficial if we work together and stick together too. Would you two like to stay here with us? I know it's not great but we can fix it up" he looked to his Thunderclan cats for approval of this idea.

Tigerheart

He noticed Cherrybranch, she was a very pretty young cat but his attention was focused on his coughing brother "yes! That's it I couldn't think of ther herb earlier"

Moonpaw

She nodded at Stormfur and stood beside her ready to begin, she focused hard as she was desperate to increase her skills and learning.

Leaftail
He nodded soberly. "I think I know where it grows, as well." He paused and looked at the tree tops. "How much should we gather? I can show you where it is, as well." He turned his yellow gaze to Tigerheart.

Stormfur
She gazed at the water. "You need to sit as still on your paws as possible. They can feel the vibration of pawsteps. Talking is to be in a low whisper." All her words had been as she described. She watched for a flash of silver. "All the fish's scales flash silver in the sun. When you see it, here's what you do." She showed Moonpaw the technique slowly, but without actually going in the water. "You'll be a bit sloppy at first, but it's a hard technique. Some strong warriors of other clans belly-flop trying to do it." Her eyes twinkled.

Tigerheart

He was eager to get some herbs for Fuzzystripe ASAP so jumped at Leaftail's suggestion to go get some now, "just enough to hopefully help my hairball of a brother here, I'll come with you now and then I can help you tidy this place up if you like?"

Moonpaw

She didn't say a word as Stormfur spoke quietly, now that she had food in her belly concentrating was much easier. The grey apprentice copied the action Stormfur had just shown her and nearly fell into the water but scrambled back just in time, however all the silver flashes disappeared as her paws landed heavily on the earth. She looked up at Stormfur quite embarrassed.

Stormclaw

He watched the ongoing conversation with pride, his Thunderclan members were willing to help and warmly accepting of the new comers, he turned to Leaftail "great, I'll finish off the bedding and try clear this stinking stuff out of camp with Cherrybranch."

Fuzzystripe glared at Tigerheart. "So the furball is the one who stayed in camp to look after the sick? Not the one who abandoned camp to go after another clan?" He still hadn’t gotten over him leaving.

Leaftail
He shot Tigerheart a sympathetic shrug, then led the way out of the brambles. He got tangled once, and gave a low growl. "These need dealt with," he grumbled. Finally, pushing through, he glanced around before speeding off toward where he remembered seeing the tansy.

Stormfur
She watched the clumsy try at the technique and smiled. "Good try!" she whispered encouragingly. At the embarrassed look, Stormfur chuckled. "It's okay. These are the fish that are gullible enough to stumble into human traps after their thumping and stomping along the banks." She sat still and again showed the technique. "Remember that if, at the last second, you decide not to dive, to try to land as lightly as possible."

"While you're at it, grab some marigold, cobwebs, feverfew, poppy seeds, and goldenrod" Fuzzystripe added.

Stormclaw

He slowly walked over to the stinky bedding and carefully picked it up in his teeth, he held his breath and quickly trotted into the rough grass at the back of the camp. He kept going until he was nearly a mile from camp. Digging a hole he buried the sickly bedding before coughing up a disgusting hair ball and running to a near by stream for a drink.

Tigerheart

He shot his brother an embarrassed look at his comment about leaving, he had done so to help others but also because he could stand seeing his clan fallling apart, he'd partly ran away from the responsibility for his clan. He followed Leaftail out of camp cursing a bramble that snagged his fur painfully, he heard Fuzzystripes call "Leaftail right??" he asked unsure he'd got all the names right "I apologise for my brothers uncourteousness but do you know where we could find some other herbs too? Fuzzystripe tends to be good with herbs he'll have some use for them".

Cherrybranch walked over to the old nursery and began weaving brambles back into it. She went onto the other dens, weaving and fixing, until every den was complete. Then she grabbed brambles from around the camp entrance , clearing the way.
