Gray rant a bit.

I mean.. hiding gray until 3+ is kind of realistic which is why I did it. It's supposed to encourage people to reveal genotypes of their horses to really find out what's there. I can see why it would be frustrating, but it depends on how we want the balance of realism vs convenience.

If you want to make it a suggestion to show (graying) from birth then I'm happy for you to post it, and we can see what the general opinion is.

Many grey foals will have "goggles" within a few months of birth. It won't happen to all, but it's a general indicator. So, there could be an art layer that pops up that shows the horses with the grey goggles.

Actually at birth most (going to be) gray foals already have the white/gray goggles. And after shedding their first coat (around 3/4 months) you can mostly see the first grayed skin. I know foals being nearly white after losing their first fur already, but also some stay dark gray for quite some years.

We have a beautiful gray 3-years old, bought as a yearling, who was unmistakenly gray at that age.

Oh and on the rant-mode of this topic; got 10 new pony's from the EC this morning. 70% grey (1 Gg and 6 GG), I feel so lucky haha :o

Learn something new every day :) I will speak to the artist once our current project is finished and see if this is something we can add in.

Sorry Abbey. I will make it a suggestion. And I am sorry that it blew up. I honestly thought it was a bug.

@c o r v u s . q u e e n, if you look at the coat of a 3-year-old, it won't say graying but the coat will look a bit dull, most notably ob bays and chestnuts, particularly in a black tail. I got this Morgan gal from the EC, she looked a bit dull so I revealed her genes, Gg >:( Was very disappointed bc I bred her and the foal is a lovely buckskin, but it's gray😩
