Ever since starting this game, I have always wanted to purchase a custom horse, but since I don't buy credits, the only way to get one, is to save up and purchase credits from other players, which can be expensive to buy 15. My suggestion is not to take away the value of credits, but to have a sort of first time discount.

i think allowing a single custom for first time players for free would be a nice feature.

This could be nice... but for those of us who already have 3 accounts, it could be a bummer lol

No support. I don't see what this would actually gain. I also feel this would encourage people to create extra accounts just to get more discounted custom horses. Even if they only create the three they're allowed, that's a pretty big loss to the game.

I don't support...I think asking Abbey to do this for everyone is unfair to her, and it's a big bummer for those of us who have been around for a long time and have already made custom horses. I think Kahzie presents a good idea, though...I think something like a free custom horse as an award for so much time playing the game or maybe even after creating so many custom horses at full price would create a lovely incentive that might actually benefit EV in the end and encourage people to stick around and buy credits and such.

Adding to Kahzie's suggestion... perhaps a free/discounted custom horse on your first deluxe 6 month equiversary? That would eliminate the extra account loophole. *shrug* I am ambivalent, as I purchased credits to use in-game

I think that your first being free would be fair. To those who are saying that it wouldn't be fair for the members who have already created some then I'm sure there is a way to keep track of your free ones if that makes sense. I also like the 6 month free one idea because it is a special occasion and could maybe even help bored members stick around. Sometimes after breeding for a while your not happy with your horses, this could help you get going again. That's just an example. It is a special thing that you should work for, but it's only a break and I think it could even help Abbey have more bought if people realize they like them so much. Almost like a trial type thing as an example, but that's not what I'm saying. I hope this makes sense because it did in my head. XD

I think we all like to dream about custom horses. I know I've played endlessly with the feature to see what a horse would look like, then go out and buy or breed to horses that have any one of those traits until I can produce the one I "designed" in the custom page. But I don't think discounting for first-timers is at all fair to those who have paid the money to buy them in the past. And even if everyone got a discounted one now, people who have paid for one years back and now have those colors in their bloodlines may not have any need for another custom. I absolutely detest when prices go up for each time you do something so I'd rather avoid it in any format. Having a set price that never changes is just a good way for a market to work.
