Plushies

Is it just me, or do these plushies look different?



The top three have a different shape and no background, where as the bottom three (and all the other plushies) have the same shape and a colored background. Does anyone know why this is?

I think those top plushies are from EV 1.0. :)

That makes sense, but why do they still look the same when all the others are different?

If the top ones are from EV 1.0, they would have been created first. Then the second row sometime after that. So it's not surprising that the art is different :) could've been a different artist, or maybe they just changed their style.

Tol is partially correct. They were all originally created before the recode, not just the top ones, though which exact one was the first I don't know. Most of them got newer versions made when the recode came (the ones with backgrounds), but a select few retained their original art for some reason (the top row).
