Any other Clydesdale breeders??

#88924 Posted on 2017-01-24 14:55:35

I've just started in on my Clydesdale line. I'm breeding to eliminate any markings in my line. Later on I may dip in to breeding for no markings AND stats, but that's neither here nor there.
I'd like to see who else breeds Clydesdales as I am a noobie and have questions about the breed.

I breed Clydes. I have all colors, but mostly chestnut. I breed for stats & chestnuts. Most of my Clydes are driving, but I do have a few in other specialties. Good luck with your herd! Feel free to PM me anytime!

I was until I lost two huge (20+) new second gen herds (apparently didn't lock lol) and couldn't afford to bring them all back to continue my lines. I just have my remaining small collection of third gens (they were locked for a while otherwise I'd be on 5th by now) and sold the rest off out of frustration.

I used to do driving annd bred for roans/grey on the old version. This version I was breeding for chestnuts, blacks and Aa bay Clydes. I mainly focused on stats.

Personally I'd say don't breed for no markings, there's plenty out there already due to the no marking bug and they all look the same haha. I think some players (I know I did) had to goal of breeding 4 stockings/socks and a blaze, like most rl breeders do. But each to their own.
