*increased prizes for leisure rides

I consistently used the daily/leisure rides before the recode, but have done so only a handful of times since, despite the increased amount of rides a player can use. I do like the timing aspect of it (having to wait between riding horses) since i feel it encourages players to spend more time on the site.

That said, the reason i've stopped using it is because the reward isn't worth the effort anymore. I used to find peppermints, hundreds of dollars, and even found EVC a few times. Now, the best I can hope for is a few single use treats. Because of that, the time it takes to click through 20 turns every hour, i doesn't utilize the rides at all.

Therefore, my suggestion is:
Allow peppermints, EVC, and larger sums of money to be found via the leisure rides. Essentially, return the prize system to the way it was prior the the Recode.  

And just to clarify: I'm not saying that these things should be found EVERY ride. i found 2 EVC in a solid year of daily rides and found peppermints perhaps one turn per day.

I too miss how rides used to be before the recode and would actually use "leisure rides" daily if there were actually some benefit to doing so (unlike now...).

I agree, it was a cute feature when I was new but now that I get enough treats from riding school I don't use it at all.

Strong support. I would use the old system every single day, but with the current system in place it's just not worth it anymore.

The only problem with this could be that any 'prizes' earned through this would simply become less valuable, because more people would have more of them...I'm not sure, I'm not going to agree or disagree but rather throw this point into the discussion :)

I kinda agree with io. Too many items would just become valueless. I do also agree the leisure riding feature is kind of useless, unless you want sunset beach backgrounds that is. 
I get 1 stat point maybe once a day and a few single treats, just that's about it. I dont really even bother anymore. 

Io, yeah that would be a problem. Maybe they'd be just very, very rare, like Sunset Beach rare? Or rarer? @Potato Ren, you actually can still gets stats every once in a while. XP

Being new here, I never used this feature in its original form, but I must say it's really disappointing. I totally ignore the screens that offer you to go left or right, as both lead straight to dead ends anyway so there's no reason to bother choosing. If one direction hid a treat or some money, I'd totally give it a shot when that screen comes up. Getting a stat boost when your horse jumps something unexpectedly with ease would make sense, and I did stumble across a very neat prize a few days ago; a background. That was like a celebration! Mostly I do it a lot because each $20 I find will get me another horse in a show, but rummaging and finding either a plastic bag or a single dollar is like... Why did I bother? $1 is not a 'great find'.

It reminds me of a similar game on Lioden. But they had tons and tons of decorative items for your lions and different animal meats you could find. If I were in charge of the Leisure Ride, I'd look into Lioden's similar feature for ideas.

Finding a stray treat is nice, but not earth-shaking, and there seems to be no market where you can sell them back to the game, again like in Lioden. It would totally help new users like me turn piles of unnecessary treats into something I can use; money.

I only leasure ride every so often for sunset beaches and sometimes peppermints but other than that I never do. If we had better prizes....
