Flying Free (Equine RP Sign-Ups)

Deep in a jungle, a species of equine has been hidden from men for generations. Herds form and friendships are tight. But when men start to tear down their home, will these equine stay or go to a new jungle, away from the men? Each group of equine will have to decide for themselves. Do you think leaving the jungle is better, or will you risk our species being discovered for the sake of staying where we've always stayed?

Rules:
No controlling other's characters
Do not kill another's character without their permission
Do not put in a plot twist without PMing me first
Do not have men tear down trees without consulting me; I will say when men are doing stuff (men as in people, not just males lol)
Be descriptive, but don't go overly gory
No swearing at all
Romance is encouraged
Most equines will not have horrible pasts; life has been easy until this year
Even genders is a must

Now I need to unveil the mystery - what kind of equine am I talking about? The title indicates they fly, and they do. But no, they are not pegasi. They are small. They are bug-horses. Before you say "eeew," these creatures are crosses between moths and horses and are actually adorable. Here is a generic one:

Character Name: Charvi
Age: Adult
Gender: Female
Description: Charvi has a brown base color, a red tinge trailing the length of her along her stomach and up to her head. A white paint spot starts on her back and goes up her neck. She has white behind her ears, and a white spot on her nose. Her mane is brown and light grey, the hairs curly. Her tail is the same color, but straight. Her feelers are curled over. Her eyes are deep pools of dark purple.
Personality: Charvi is shy, not quick to open her heart to the possibility of love, while all the while desperately wanting it. She is kind, and hates to see pain. She has a soft spot for pomegranate and anything citrus. Charvi is forgiving, but hurt her once and she may never be able to trust you again, no matter how much she wants to. She loves giving to the young flutter-horses.

Character Name: Orfao (or-fay-oh; Portuguese for orphan pronounced differently)
Age: Foal
Gender: Male
Description: Orfao has wide, adorable dark green eyes that look like a stormy sea or ocean. His fur is black, with light brown stippling. His hooves and ankles are light brown. His mane and tail are black and light brown. The mane is short, but not cropped, and a bit messy at all times. His tail, too is short. His wings are almost transparent, and are brown. His ears are tipped with fuzzy "bursts," as he would describe it.
Personality: Orfao is indescribably sweet and innocent. He doesn't understand much about life yet, and wonders why his mommy isn't there anymore. He loves to play, but hates it when he sees other foals being mean. He is a sensitive soul, and doesn't take well to harsh words. His favorite things are bright sunshine, blue skies, and a strawberry to munch on.

Other: No, other than after coming up with a personality for Orfao, I fell in love with him 100% more than I did before.

Description: Archer has bright red eyes, his body is black with a dark blue base. He has a black strip going from the top of his head down to his back. His mane and tail consist of three colors black, a light blue and red. His wings are of three colors as well purple, black and turquoise. He has Dark green marking on his mouth and all four of his legs stopping just before his ankles.
Personality: Archer's the one who will speck his mind, even if it gets him into trouble. If he has a job to do he'll get it done. He doesn't like it when others are being rude, he'll let you know when he's had enough of your attitude. He's quiet friendly and easy to talk to, though he does like to be alone.

Character Name: Faith
Age: (adult, adolescent, foal) Adult
Gender: Femal
Description:Faith has purple eyes that seem to shine when you look into them, her body color is purple with an orange undercoat. Her mane and tail is purple,white and blue, Her wings consits of the colors, blue, orange and purple. She has blue fethers on the back of her legs, she has three piercings on both of her ears.
Personality: Faith loves everyone and is easy to get a long with, she loving and kind to anyone she meets. If your alone and she thinks you need a friend, she'll gladly go over and try and cheer you up. She puts trust in everyone, but that doesn't mean you get to betray her though it doesn't take much to get her trust back.

Accepted. Gorgeous little characters. You went the iridescence route, I see. Mine are more low-key. Love it! Those two are the kind of flutter-horses that men will spot. They might think they're butterflies, though. :D

I thought about going bland but I just couldn't I love the colors to much, can't wait till the RP starts :D

Character Name: Hestia (Greek goddess)
Age: 1 year and 10 months (adolescent)
Gender: female

Description: Hestia is a small Flutter-horse. She is dark brown in color with a grayish brown spot going over her back and neck, as well as that color socks on all four of her feet and a spot on her face. Her mane and tail are messy clusters of dark purple, brown, and black hair. Her eyes are strange, dark pools of purplish gray; she has eyelashes. Behind her ears and at the base of her tail, she has clusters of light gray feathers. Her wings resemble those of a butterfly; they are gray with black spots and designs on them. There are dark purple leaves on Hestia's left hip- she painted them there. She wears a thick, woven necklace made of dark purple flowers.

Personality: Hestia is an explorer- always curious about plant life. She can sometimes be overly curious and ruthless, but she doesn't intend to be troublesome. She is a daydreamer, and often chooses to be alone. This can cause her to seem unfriendly, but she isn't trying to be. She's just distant most of the time.

Character Name: Quet (pronounced "ket")
Age: 6 years (adult)
Gender: stallion

Description: Quet is a tall (for a bug lol), muscular gray stallion. His legs fade to black, and he has a black dorsal stripe. His eyes are like sharp aqua pits. His mane and tail are long and curly; they are black with light gray streaks. His feelers are black with tufts on the ends. His wings are like a butterfly's as well, but more pointed than Hestia's. They are gray with black stripes, and light gray at their bases. He often wears a mask made of berry bush branches.

Personality: Quet is stern and anti-social. He isn't mean, but when he tells you to do something, you do it. He gets snappy if you don't. He prefers not to chat and play; he would rather spend his time alone, doing who knows what. He is kind to some people, but treats most like I just described.

Character Name: Charavi (pronounced "char-awh-vie")
Age: 4 years (adult)
Gender: female

Description: Charavi is on the taller side, but of lithe stature. She is dark cream in color, with off-white swirls on her muzzle and hooves. Her mane and tail are thick, wavy bunches of cream and light brown hair; she wears her tail in a big braid. Her feelers are tufted at the ends with dark cream fur stuff. Her eyes are startling, like her brother's, but they are purplish pink in color with eyelashes. Her wings are pointy and butterfly-like, and are maroon in color with black bottoms and white markings all over them. She wears a necklace of mroon flowers, as well as swirly, silver shoes over her hooves.

Personality: Charavi is nothing like her older brother. She can be businesslike, but chooses instead to constantly prove her brother she's right, much to his annoyance. She encourages Quet to be less tense, and to enjoy the good times in life. She is often described as immature, but she really just wants her family to loosen up once in a while. Being the lead stallion's sister isn't a very fun title.

Character Name: Orie
Age: 2 years (adolescent/young adult)
Gender: stallion

Description: Orie is small and plain. He is brown in color, with darker brown stockings and dorsal stripe. He has a dark brown undercoat/tint as well. His mane and tail are cropped, and are dark brown with black roots. His feelers are dark brown with tufts at the end. His wings are like a Lunar Moth's, but they are semi-transparent and dark red in color. His eyes are a blank, pale blue- he was born blind.

Personality: Orie is quiet and reserved. He speaks when spoken to, but doesn't really engage in conversation. He wishes everyone would shut up about his disability, that they would treat him normally, but no one knows this except Hestia because he doesn't want to sound rude. He considers himself Hestia's friend, even though she barely speaks to him. That's okay- he doesn't socialize much, either.

Character Name: Nalacia (NAL-AY-SHE-A)
Age: Somewhat older foal
Gender: Mare
Description: Blue coat with tiny black dots, black swirl markings, a black nose, and a dark blue mane and tail. She has light blue- almost aqua- eyes, long, delicate, blue antenna, and large purple swirls on her rump, and long blue feathering. Her legs fade into pure white. She wears a long string of green petals around her neck, as well as a necklace with a large teal flower on it.
Personality: She doesn't have many friends, but tends to be very close with the ones she has. She appears shy and embarrassed about her bright, flashy appearance, but is really quite proud of her colors, and always tries to "accidentally" show them off.
She's rather quiet, reserved, and secretive, but always jumps at the chance to play or explore with another foal.

Character Name: Tracent (TRAY-SENT)
Age: Foal (Slightly younger than Nalacia)
Gender: Stallion
Description: Medium brown coat, that fades into a very light tan on his legs, a gray accented blue mane and tail, blue eyes, and very pale, barely visible swirls and dots on his back, and smaller wings that resemble blue tinted dried leaves.
Personality: He's very playful, and is one of Nalacia's close friends, but he's very different. He can see the serious side of things, although he doesn't like to, and is a little immature for his age. However, he sort of likes this, because it can help lift the mood, something he often tries to do. He's surprisingly easily offended, for such an outgoing foal.

Character Name: Estrellita (Estre for short)
Age: Adult
Gender: Mare
Description: Estre is solid gray-black, except for her dusty gray undercoat. She has an inky black mane and tail, her mane is short and wavy, her tail a fluffy "ball" of fur. Her antenna are long and bushy, and her eyes are light teal, surrounded by a mask of fog gray swirls. She has a black crescent moon marking on her rump, and bright, almost glowing, teal spots on her hooves, alongside long feathering. Her wings are gray, but iridescent, and she has jeweled horseshoe earrings and a string of black flower buds.
Personality: Estre is often thought of as unfriendly, which is sort of true. She can think for herself, likes to prove it, and she has little patience. She gets irritated at people's mistakes a little too quickly, and has zero tolerance for slacking or complaints, but she does like some things. She's fond of animals, and has befriended a fig wasp with a torn wing. The flutter-foals are sort of afraid of her, something she more or less likes, as long as they leave her alone. She has few friends, and no mate- she's not a people person.

Gender: Stallion
Description: Leo is light cream, with white stripes all over his coat. His mane and tail are gray, accented with lighter gray. Each leg has feathering on all sides, and his rump has three lacy black diamonds on it. His sides, chest, and neck have black spots on them, his antenna are creamy white, and he has pink-gray eyes. His wings are black, white, and gray.
Personality: Leo is calm and cheerful, a definite extrovert. He often flips and twirls in midair when he's listening to someone talk, and talks well he's thinking. He spends all time possible with people, but isn't looking for a mate.
