made my first recolor-able artwork :D

I finally somewhat-figured out layers today!
I still can't work with others' .psd files, but I can work with mine!
First I made this:

Then, I erased the colored layer to get the lineart with the background:

And finally, I exported the colorless version to a .psd file, but I won't post that so nobody tries stealing it and profiting from it... even though it's kinda bad lol.
So yeah! I can draw a bit better with a pencil, but considering I used a mouse while drawing this and not a pencil or tablet (I have yet to get one), I'm pretty happy with it.
EDIT: now there's this one... I forgot to put the shine stuff on the mane, but do you guys think it looks better without?

Congrats!! Figuring out layers is quite the achievement in my book. It took me FOREVER - seriously. I don't have a drawing tablet so if I buy a sketch & need to line it I use the line tool. (It took me a week to figure out the line tool but boy was it worth it.) I think this is very cute!
