Juniper

Juniper now walked beside Nero after he slowed his pace in which she was grateful for. "So are you planning on sticking around in this area for long," she asked Nero curiously. She secretly hoped his answer was yes, though it was a long shot. The alpha of the this territory was a close family member of hers and while he would greet her with open arms to pack, she wasn't so sure how he would react to Nero, a line wilf, being in his territory.

Maddox

Maddox continued West of his den, marking a tree every few meters. He wanted to ensure that his scent was strong and held off any line wolves from entering his territory. He grumbled words to himself as he wandered through the night on a of sleep. "Curse these lone wolves," he said aloud. He wandered a few meters and marked yet another tree. "This would be much easier if I had more pack members." Suddenly, realization struck him and he turned on his heels, heading for Mammoth Plains where he last ran into Sacka. He knew they didn't get along very well, but it was worth a shot. His nose soon led him towards Silent Hill Forest and he wandered carefully, making sure he wasn't making much noise. He stopped low to the ground when he heard voices, and there in front of his eyes stood Sacka and a lone wolf striking up a conversation. He shook his head in disappointment, more at himself than at her. This was his moment to act. "Sacka," he poke as he took a step out of the bushes, "I need your help with something." He looked over at the lone wolf then back a Sacka.

Nero

"I hadn't really thought about it" the tree came into view, "I don't really want a fight with the pack that rules this place". He went to the other side of the tree seeing the rock and the hole, before going in he sniffed the air making sure no one had made it they're own. Luckily no one did "come on" he entered the hole moving to one side so she could get in.

Jinx

Jinx stood up quickly as another wolf came over a male, she stood up to her full height and glared at him. If he was a member of Sacka's pack or worse the alpha, he'd have a better chance of chasing her off. But that didn't mean she'd go quietly, she watched him to see what he'll do.

Sacka:

"Fair." Sacka replied to Jinx. She would tell her her story... at least some of it. But then Maddox appeared.
"Why do you need my help?" she demanded him. "Why now, after all this time?"

Juniper

Juniper cheered in her mind though she didn't really know why she was so happy that Nero didn't give an outright no as an answer to staying or not. She clambered into the hole behind him, squeezing to one side so not to squish up against Nero. "I know the alpha who owns the territory," she admitted to him.

Maddox

Maddox lowered his head in shame. As much as he hated to admit it, he needed Sacka and he had treated her like crap. Truthfully he didn't expect her to help him at all, but he had to at least make the effort. "I know I haven't been the best alpha towards you," he admitted to her, "but I need you to help me with pack business." He wasn't exactly comfortable telling her what the pack business was with a lone wolf present. He looked at the lone wolf once more, watching her size him up. He wanted to scoff at her, tell her that she didn't have a chance against him, but for the sake of getting Sacka to trust him he decided to keep his snide remarks to himself.

Nero

Nero watched as Juniper settled in the hole. He was shocked that she knew the alpha, "how do you know him, I thought you where a loner". Now he wasn't really sure about her, if she wasn't a loner then why was she here with him. He looked out the hole and up at the stars, he didn't want her to see that he was a little bit irritated even though he didn't really know why he was.

Jinx

Jinx tensed up at the word alpha, great he IS the alpha. A small growl escaped her throat, she hadn't meant for it to slip out but it did. Even so she didn't move an inch, she knew that she didn't have a chance against him but that didn't matter to her. She looked at Sacka then back at the alpha waiting to see what will happen.

Juniper

Juniper sighed, knowing he should have told him earlier not that she thought it was any of his business. "I am a lone wolf," she told him truthfully, "the alpha of this territory is my cousin." She stood up to the best of her ability in the small space they shared. She wanted to know his exact reaction to the news she had just shared. Hope was spared for the longing that it did not change his opinion towards her or staying around.

Maddox

Maddox glared at the lone wolf, silently warning her to back off. Then, with a flip of a switch, he perked his ears at the opportunity. "Tell me about yourself, lone wolf. What's your name? Perhaps where you came from?" He was trying to sound as nice as he could, though he wasn't sure it was possible for him to have that tone of voice. Perking his ears and relaxing his tense muscles, he tried to be less intimidating. He only hoped the wolf wouldn't take advantage of his relaxed state.

Nero

Nero didn't look at her, not at first anyways "So you grew up in a pack then". He turned looking at her, that's when he noticed that she was standing up. He gave her a questioning look before smiling at her "I guess that's good for you, you don't have to worry about being chased out since your family". He actually liked her, he decided to stick around at least for a few days. He looked away what was wrong with him, since when did he care for anyone or anyone cared for him.

Jinx

Jinx was caught of guard at what he said, since when did an alpha want to know anything about a loner trespassing. She noticed that he relaxed a bit, her on the other hand didn't for all she knew this could be a trick. "And why should I tell you, I have no reason to trust you", she thought about just attacking him but thought better of it. Why would this alpha want to know anything about her anyways.

Sacka:

Sacka snorted. "What pack business? You seem relaxed, so why aren't you telling me?" she pressed. She had decided to quit submitting to her alpha, but then again, she never really had. Does that mean I'm a lone wolf?

Akita

She watched Maddox and two other strange wolves talking from behind a bush, eating her rabbit she caught earlier as they talked.

He walked alone through the northern forests enjoying the cool breeze and the morning sun

Juniper

Juniper nodded, "They kicked me out though." She didn't know why she felt the need to tell him everything about her past, it just felt like she had to tell him. It just wasn't like her to tell a stranger about herself. "We haven't seen each other since he left the pack, so I don't know how he has changed in the past two years."

Maddox

"Oh come on, why shouldn't you trust an alpha," he said as he circled around her, "I mean besides the fact that I am stronger than you." He came back around to sit in front of the lone wolf. "At least give me a name to call you, that's the least you can do." He looked to Sacka who he was standing by and took a moment before answering her. "I need your help with the lone wolves," he stated as he looked at the lone wolf in front of him. "I don't mean get rid of them, fight them even. What I mean is, invite them to stay in the pack for a while. We need more members and I think you are capable of helping me out with recruiting these wolves who might need or want a pack." Taking a step back he looked between the two female wolves.

Sacka:

Sacka glared at him.
"Seeing as you disowned me, a member of your pack, why are you wanting to invite in strangers? And this lone wolf next to me doesn't have to tell you anything if she doesn't want to." she snarled. "You don't own us, you know."

Akita

Her ears pricked up at what the younger wolf said. Maddox didn't seem to be the type of wolf to do that when she met him, he seemed quite the opposite. Then again she had been with him for a day. I guess you never know a wolf until you start hearing the rumors.

Nero

Nero turned back to her, "I guess that's one thing I never had to worry about, I've never been in a pack before". He thought about asking her, but wasn't sure she'd answer it's not like I have anything to lose. "Why did you get kicked out" he asked casually, he looked back out and at the stars and smiled. Ever time he looked at the stars he remembered his mother, the one wolf he could trust.

Jinx

Jinx tensed up even more as Maddox circled her, she stepped back a few steps once he sat down in front of her. "It's Jinx" that's all he was getting from her, there was no need for him to know anything else about her. She looked over at Sacka, she liked her and felt sorry for her. Her alpha even admitted that he wasn't really kind to her, and now he wanted lone wolves to join his pack like she'd ever join up. But then again if Sacka stayed with this guy here, she might join just so she'll have someone watching her back.

Sacka:

"And why do you want more pack members?" Sacka continued. She wasn't doing anything until she knew all the details first. That's one thing she had learned how to do- to not trust.

Maddox

Maddox was irritated and ashamed at the same time, "I'm sorry." It was all he could say. He lowered his head in shame, and contemplated just giving up and walking away. "Well, Jinx your welcome to stay if you like," he responded to her, "As for me wanting more pack members, your the only one. The territory is quite large and I need help defending it. If you don't want to do it then that's fine, I guess I don't have a pack anymore."

Juniper

Juniper sat down on the cold dirt, tucking her tail under her. She didn't know if she should answer Nero's question or not. Not that it mattered if he knew. "I refused to hold my family's title as Beta in our pack so they disowned me. I had no choice but to leave." She laid down, shivering as the wind seeped in around her.
