Maddox

Maddox slowed to a brisk walk, noticing that Akita had caught up with him and was now walking beside him. He didn't say anything, afraid he would say something wrong and push away a wolf has taken his side against the fact that she barely knew him or how his pack was in the past. He was grateful for her being here even if it wouldn't be forever. He stopped at Little Bear River, knowing he would have to cross its chilling waters to even reach Mammoth Plains unless he wanted to walk all the way around Bear Claw Lake which in his opinion was a waste of time. He walked along the edge, finding the most shallow spot and crossed it at a sprint. He shook the ice cold water from his fur before continuing towards Mammoth Plains.

Juniper

Juniper yawned as she stood up and blinked her eyes. The sun was now up and Nero was no longer inside the hole. Did he leave? She sniffed the air finding that his scent was somewhat fresh. Stepping out of the hole she stretched her sore muscles and looked around. She spotted him instantly and trotted over to him. Her wound from the moose attack looked better than it did yesterday and only ached a little when she walked. "Morning," she said to him cheerfully as she stopped beside him.

Nero

He looked at her and smiled, "Morning, I was thinking about going hunting and I didn't want to wake you". He looked forward again thinking of a good spot to hunt, with winter coming hunting will become harder. "Any ideas as to where to hunt", he didn't really know the good spots to find prey here. He had been lucky to find that small rabbit yesterday.

Jinx

Jinx stopped at the edge of the trees, she scanned thunder plains hoping to find something to eat. There in the middle was a rabbit, it wasn't the biggest but it would do. She sunk low to the ground as she approached it from behind, she ever so slowly got closer. The rabbit broke into a run forcing her to chase after it, oh yea great it's not like I'm not already tired.

Juniper

Juniper smiled before looking in the direction he was also looking. "If you want anything big I think Mammoth Plains is the place to go," she replied casually. She excited to hunt, seeing as it didn't work out yesterday and she was lucky Nero was nice enough to share. She glanced up at the trees, seeing the birds hop from branch to branch almost taunting them, not that she would ever bothering with trying to hunt a bird. "I think I'm okay to hunt with you, my legs fine now."

Nero

"If you think your up to it, let's go" he stood up and headed to Mammoth Plains, he looked back and saw that Juniper was looking at the birds. "I'd hunt those but I don't like plucking the feathers", he wagged the tip of his tail. If they're lucky they be able to bring down a good sized buck, he continued on "It should be a lot easier to hunt with the two of us".

Jinx

Jinx continued to chase after the rabbit, just when she was about to give up she jumped and grabbed hold of it. She had hold of the back of the rabbit, she quickly let and held on to the neck until it stopped moving. She ate quickly licking her lips when she was done, now I just need a spot to sleep. She looked back to Silent Hill Forest might as well, she headed there to look for a spot for her nap.

Juniper

Juniper laughed, "I don't even bother trying to get them. I'm not a jumper." She took her eyes from the trees and trotted towards Nero. "I think a deer sounds better." She wagged her tail and perked her ears. Walking off towards the plains she was eager to get a meal.

(got some couple action going on lol)

Sacka:

Sacka climbed a decently high hill. Beyond it, there was a thick pine stretch. In the direction where she had came from, there were lower hills, and past them the Silent Hill Forest. I wonder why no one bothers living here? she thought. It's beautiful! There's no large bodies of water in sight, but I've always preferred high, dry land to wet lowlands anyway.

(lol who wouldn't like Nero he's so kind hearted)

Nero

"That's why you wait until they're on the ground before pouncing" he laughed as he followed. "But yea a deer does sound better", he was happy and he couldn't really remember the last time he was. He fell silent not really sure what to say next.

Jinx

Jinx enter the forest as she was looking for a spot to sleep, she thought about finding Sacka. "What am I thinking I don't need anyone" she mumbled to herself, she stopped and looked around her. She couldn't really see any good place to lay down, she huffed and continued walking.

(gonna introduce a new char because all I ever RP is sassy girls and crippled old things ok)

~Cix: very scarred 9-year-old she-wolf; wiry and (mostly) short fur that is brown with dark brown and black brindling; black nose; dark brown and dark green hazel-type eyes; very scarred and broken left hind leg from being trampled by a buffalo stampede; ran away from pack after becoming crippled at age 4, but they said she couldn't come back since she was a "rouge" now~

Sacka:

Sacka reached the top of the hill and sat down, looking back at her home. I grew up there... how can I leave it?

Cix:

Cix limped through the pine forest. Her scarred and brindled pelt was barely visible through the trees. Up ahead, she saw the outline of a wolf on the hill. Her hill. The hill she looked at her old home from. An intruder.

Jinx

Jinx was getting tired of trying to look for a spot to sleep, she yawned and shook her head trying to stay awake. She knew she couldn't just sleep in the open, as she was walking she saw a wolf on a hill. Sacka who else could it be, she headed that way. Though she wasn't quiet sure why, she didn't really care when she stepped on a twig on her way to the hill and it snapped from her weight.

Sacka:

In the distance, Sacka saw Jinx climbing the smaller hills. No! she thought. I have to run before she gets to this hill!
She turned and ran; blindly running into the forest. She had nowhere to go, but surely no one lived there. No one would care where she went.
That is, no one but the old she-wolf who bowled Sacka over. What? Who are you? Sacka screamed in her mind, but no words could come out. The crippled wolf was pinning her to the ground, and holding her jaws shut with a paw. That's what I get for not paying attention. Sacka mentally chided herself.
But then she realized that this wolf was crippled- her hind leg was twisted and bent. Not only that, but she was very scarred and appeared old. Sacka, who was young and agile, could easily beat this wolf. But it had malice in it's gaze... and Sacka was scared. She didn't like being blindsided or proven wrong. She didn't even squirm; she just layed there. Who else is here? Oh, I should have looked around first!

Cix:

Cix glared at the young wolf below her, not noticing Jinx.
"Who are you?" she demanded the fluffy gray heap. She's so young... why is she alone out here? Sure, she's old enough to go off on her own, but not out here. No pack lives here.

Jinx

Jinx stopped on the stop of the hill, looking toward the one she saw Sacka on. Only to find her gone, where is she she looked around but didn't see her. She headed over to the hill Sacka had been on, hoping to find her trail. She went into a trot so didn't take her long to get there. Once on top she looked around again, she tilted her head to the side when she saw Sacka and another wolf who looked much older. She headed down, this time making sure she didn't make any sound.

Sacka:

Her heart was pounding. "Sacka." she croaked out.

Cix:

"Mm. Nice name." Cix grunted flatly. She noticed the scratches on Sacka, the bite on her tail, and the stained blood on her fur.
"You were recently in a fight... with who?"

Jinx

Jinx kept low to the ground, using the trees as cover as she listened in. This wolf obviously didn't like visitors, she moved around them to where she was behind this new wolf. She rose to her full height as she stepped out showing herself, "with me" she snarled. This better be wroth it she eyed this new wolf as she moved in front of her, when she did she got a better look at her.

Juniper

Juniper trotted, almost pup like. She hadn't hunted for any big game in such a long time- well except for her failed attempt at the moose yesterday which was a stupid mistake. No wolf should hunt a moose on their own. After bouncing around for a minute, she decided to calm down so not to scare away any prey.

Nero

Nero couldn't help but laugh at her pup like trot, "I'm going to take it your ready for a hunt. He spotted the mammoth plains "there it is", he picked up his pace just a bit. He was ready to eat, and with Juniper hunting with him it shouldn't be that hard to catch something.
