Horse hoarding.

I was wondering how many people are like me. They give themselves a set number of horses they can have.... and they can't resist going over it. I tell myself I'll keep it at a certain number, but I never do. I also can't seem to get rid of my precious horses either, and I'm still pretty new on here. I don't have an excessive number yet, but in years to come I'm sure I will. I imagine in years to come I'm going to end up collecting a herd of 200 or something. How many others struggle with this problem?

Yeah, I do breeding and sales a lot though. I'm in the negatives in my profit this month so I'm like "no more buying horses" and then I go and buy more horses. Its a real problem lol

LOL. I meant to have 40. After first round of foals Ifrom my foundies I'll be over 200. I have 3 breeds/herds waiting to be introduced too.

Me a few months ago: "Imma keep my project TB herd down to about 4 at a time"

Lolz this is totally me; i have 351 horses (on this account) and 5 foals waiting to be born.

I'm finally below 150 horses!!!! :D I sold off a good 200 horses already trying to get my hoarding under control D:

I hoard horses to fill the gaping hole in my heart due to lack of horses in my life right now.

On my high school graduation day, I found out that my first and only horse, Rico, and dun quarter horse, had passed away early. I sold him to my riding teacher, and I already knew they didn't take the best care of their horses. They literally build stalls out of scrap metal, the place was a tetanus mine field. Her husband had Alzheimer's, and she formed dementia, and I know however he died could have been prevented, he was only 16 and very healthy before I had to let him go due to high school, and other issues. ):

I've tried to start up riding again, but have such a hard time committing to any of it. I miss Rico so much. At least I got to have one last ride on him a couple years after I sold him.

I'm guessing I horde horses simply because I no longer have them in my life right now. I moved quite the drive away form my home and my parent's horses, and there are no riding stables here. I make do with pixel ponies while I wish for the real thing. Sadly, not everywhere has riding stables.

I just can't seem to let my favorites die!!!!

I have that problem with my Miniatures... LOL. Mostly because I'm trying to add in more colors, so I see a fancy color and I'll buy if it's the right stats as well.

Me!! Whenever I'm bored I come on here and browse horses for sale and always find ones I just have to bid on even though I already have like 50 locked between this account and my spare plus the 20-30 I'm actively playing with.

Look at the horse numbers between my 12 divisions. :) Got over 121 promising babies over the past few months locked and ready to be worked with sometime after I clear out all my older horses; if that EVER happens. :P


Trying desperately to not expand my horse limit anymore, but definitely no promises there!

I have sold all of one horse from one of my herds. I have them for the same reason as so many others. I can't have real horses in my life right now. I miss having them very much and having them here helps just a little but also makes me want a real one again very badly.
