#73017 Posted on 2016-10-23 10:26:18 This guy was born yesterday, and I'm quite proud of him! Proteus His stats at birth were: STR: 2 SPD: 500 AGI: 2 INT: 2 END: 514 ALL: 1020 He's the culmination of my Akhal Teke breeding project, which I started way back on the old game. Not sure when I started it, but it's been a while! They were the first breed that I started with exclusively my own line of foundations, with the aim of breeding down to one "ultimate" fifth-generation horse, and this guy is it! (There've been other breedings, and new foundations being brought in, as this was also an experiment to figure out a way to balance genetic diversity without major stat hits, which also yielded helpful information. But this horse was the primary "goal" when I started off my herd.) About my only complaint is that his parents were a buckskin and a palomino, and I got a plain bay. :P 0 members like this post. #73020 Posted on 2016-10-23 10:38:14 I have some lovely second gene Tekes out of a custom herd I purchased, so I'll hopefully be able to get a lot of nice colors and patterns into my lined herd now. :) Back when I started these guys, there weren't any patterns in the breed, and I was breeding for champagne. Since champagne was taken out (rightly) of the breed in this version, most of my interesting colors went away, too, sadly. I've had that happen lol none of my TBs had patterns, since before they had only roan and that was taken out... do you know how much I paid for a red roan stud?
