Equine Portrait

Hi all!

I haven't done digital painting in a long time, and joining EV has really gotten me itching to use my tablet again. I am an equine photographer, so I made one of my photographs into line art and then colored it in. Let me know what you think, or if you'd be interested in me making it into a tag or something.

I think it looks wonderful! If you do offer these as tags though, I'd love to order some :D The only thing I would suggest is making the background lighter for this one so that it would be easier to see the horse's mane - especially if you're going to make this a tag. Since they're much smaller it'll be harder to tell what starts where. You could also maybe give people the option of not having the bonnet and/or the bridle cause some people might not like that.

But yeah. Please do a tag sale! lol

like tol said..I'd lighten up the bg on this. The horse would stand out more. :)

I agree, the background should be lighter, I was thinking the color could be chosen by anyone who wants a tag. I will definitely mess around with an option of not having the tack in the future, but I am working on converting other images of mine into lineart right now (many of which have only a bridle, which I can definitely remove if wanted!).

Sorry for the stupid question, but what's the difference between the normal art sales and the u13? I'm an adult and wasn't sure I was allowed to post there.

13 and under is for members who are not over 13 yet. Members under 13 can't see the regular art sales (and a few other things I believe). You are allowed to post there. Some artist will post in the regular tag/sig sales and the sales for 13 and under to give those under 13 a chance to get the tag.
