High confo

#66898 Posted on 2016-09-12 10:41:38

I was just wondering, what counts as high and low confo? I'm pretty sure my standards are ridiculous, so I kinda want to find out what anyone else thinks! XD
:)

Depends. For a new line of foundations that I'm buying from the EC (I'm cheap) 55 and above with two or less "poor" ratings are what I look for/are acceptable, although I prefer 57+. If I'm buying foundations from other players I look for 60+. Lined horses I look for 70+ with no poor marks. This I consider "good". Amazing for me is anything 80+.

I'm pretty much with Wisteria.

For foundations, I hope for 55+ (and am very glad when I see 60+), but will take lower if the horse has genetics going for it.

But in general (I realize these categories aren't even measurements; just my impressions):

Below 45 - Yiiiiikes.
45-50 - eh, *cringe*
50-65 - all right
65-75 - nice!
75-80 - awesome!
80+ - holy crap!

As I breed for confirmation and stats, nothing less that a 58 with all being GOOD is acceptable. I do have higher confirmation horses with Poor areas, but I work to remedy that. ALL my foundies have at minimum GOOD on all confirmation points. I will keep only those that are 61 or better IF they poor on any confirm points.

This is just hoe I do it. I have not been totally disappointment yet, but I am starting a line aof Walkers and that will be a good test of my theory....

I am just now getting into breeding for conformation so i don't have a opinion yet on this but I'm excited because the conformation for my custom horse I made the other day is,

Conformation and Health
Head 63.00 Good
Neck 67.00 Good
Withers 57.00 Good
Back 56.00 Good
Shoulders 52.00 Good
Legs 56.00 Good
Knees 53.00 Good
Hooves 64.00 Good
Average 58.50

Lol and it's a foal. So I'm raising it's stats until I can train it.

Any conformation average that can be achieved by a foundation doesn't seem that noteworthy to me. 70 is where it starts to get my notice. 80 is great, and anything above 90 is spectacular.

it depends on whether you mean foundies or lined. For foundies I think 60+ is good, but my standards are higher than others.

I'd second what Confessor and Merkavich said. Foundation needs to be 60+, lined should be into the 70's to catch my attention.
