...Why did racing and TBs lose their polularity?

Racing is officially the least popular specialty in the game now. And TBs are not the least popular horses, but they're lower down on the list. Why is this? Before the recode, TBs were one of the most popular breeds! And racing was much more popular...

I guess because of a lack of colours and same old pedigrees? I'm a TB breeder but I've been dwindling in the breed because there's not many people that are buying TBs and if I want to outsource to an outside stud I have the inbred/overbred TBs to muddle through.

I think Racing becomes unpopular as TBs do because most Racing horses are TBs. For me, even though I have them, it's because of the breed art. The colors are so dull and the pose is really bland. Idk. I also agree about the pedigrees. I bought two studs by mistake that had related ancestors and inbreeding, though several gens back. Now I have to make sure to keep my lines completely private. It's just annoying.
