NITTY CONTEST - non-art, design contest.

I hope its not too late to enter. I've been working on this guy for a while now. Please note that some of the historical references are not quite accurate; however, I tried to make it flow in a realistic manner as much as possible. Thank you!

Name: Vihaan, sanskrit for new era
Breed: Zanskari x Burmese
Gender: Stallion
Height: 13.2 hands
Color: Sable Dun
Markings: Irregular stripe, thin and jagged starting at his forehead, curving beneath his left eye and then dipping off his muzzle towards his right nostril, primitive markings on his shoulders and legs, dorsal stripe.
Additions: Faded red cape with ornate clasp, bronze sanskrit writing on the hem.
-- Physical: Strong well built and compact. Short stride suited for rough terrain, wide and deep chest, small hard hooves, and fine legs.
-- Physiological: He has enhanced endurance and speed, heightened instincts, an indomitable will, and feral tendencies.
Mane and Tail: Black ombre fades to dark brown. His mane is short and cropped, and his tail is medium length.
Eyes: Amber brown

Physical/Mental Issues: Suffers from chronic hypoxia; experiencing hallucinations, breathing troubles, confusion and disorientation.

Personality: Reserve. Misguided. Solitary.
He had a quiet temperament and willing nature when he was younger, but now remains cold and distant. Prefers solitude to being sociable, and often broods over the past.

History: His father was a militaristic zanskari horse brought from India and used in the Burmese-Siam war. His mother a native pony of Siam, now known as a burmese pony, foaled Vihaan is the mid 1600s when Siam was conquered. The name Vihaan was chosen by his father meaning new era as the end of Siam was at hand and the beginning of Thailand.

During the finale stages of war Vihaan fled into Myanmar. He suffered from hypoxia while traveling through the mountains on his way to India. It became chronic after he remained at the higher elevation for too long. The culture has changed much since Vihaan was young. He spent several years roaming and trying to find his place in the world. Finally he made the journey back to Thailand, and has since dwelled among scattered villages along the lower hills of the northern mountain range.

He is bilingual speaking both Sanskrit and Siamese fluently.
He is immortal, having been granted immortality during the perils of war and his journey to seek refuge.
