He didn't want to do this, but it seemed he had no choice. Prince took a deep breath, his mouth tingling with readiness for the fire to come. He let out a huge blow onto the horse's wing, knowing the stud would have to jump into the water to heal.

The stud screamed as his green feathers burned away. His lips curled into a deadly smirk as he swung the flaming wing, slapping the black steed as his feathers burned. He quickly dove into the water, coming out with a wingless, charred shoulder.

Prince's eyes widened at the evil stallion, but he realized his advantage. "Bye bye!" he spoke quietly, flying up into the air and speeding to his cave. To be safe he landed a little away from the den, trotting into his cave and pulling out a stone from the wall after he went in. Suddenly a wall locked him in, keeping him and the mare safe from harm. He lit a torch, jumping when he saw the mare in the corner. Slowly he calmed down before asking gently "Are you alright?"

Lilac squealed. She stood, and walked up to him. "Is he dead?" She gazed into his beautiful eyes. "Please tell me Warrior is dead??"

With all his heart he wanted to tell her that he was dead, but he couldn't. "You'll be safe with me." is all he spoke, giving her a comforting hug around the neck. He pulled away after only a few seconds, not wanting to make her uncomfortable.

Lilac's heart fluttered from his kind hug. She pressed her muzzle to his shoulder and breathed out, as a thank you. "I'm Lilac, and you are?" Her breath was taken from her as the foals kicked, and she collapsed. "Oh, no. No, no, no, no." She murmured. "Th..they're coming!"

Warrior dragged himself out of the black water, and made his way to the forest. That dreaded stallion was about to feel his wrath. When he finally made upon the locked cave, he snorted, and began to pound on the barricade with his hooves.

"Perfect timing..." he mumbled, picking Lilac up gently with his wings and putting her on his back. Quickly he ran to the end of the cave, taking her down a tunnel and making it fall down behind them. He could not smell or hear them here, and should assume they aren't in here. Carefully he laid her down, wiping his hooves on his coat and preparing himself for the delivery. "It'll be alright, just push!" he told her as sweetly as possibly, ready for the foal(s).

Lilac contracted, squealing. Her breath came in heavy lengths, and sweat beaded her coat. She clenched her teeth as a small gray filly dropped, sneezing. Soon a light sorrel colt laid beside her.

Warrior pounded one last time, the rock cracking and falling to the ground. Dust rose, covering the scent of his prey, and opponent. Seeing that he had failed his mission, and lost his way home, the steed jumped into the lake, never to be seen again.

(Is that the only foal?)

Prince smiled proudly for Lilac, waiting to see if there was any more foals. He hadn't feel so happy in a long time, but he knew it wouldn't last long.

(The last two sentences I posted say she had her twins. The light sorrel and grey. Don't forget, your the chestnut colt, Quest.)

Lilac stood, turning towards her babies. She began to groom the two, the light filly gazing at her. The tiny foal twitched her small, featherless wings, and pressed her muzzle to her brother's face.

"How did you meet that...beast?" he asked, sitting down in front of her with a smile.

Quest moved his wing onto his sister's back, cuddling close to his sister and his mother. His small muzzle leaned against his mother's belly, getting as much warmth as he could.

Lilac shook her head, messing up her mane. "I lived in a herd, with him." She sighed. "I was a prized mare, and I was fought for." She glanced at her foals, not wanting to catch his eye. "He didn't win, but at night, he forced himself on me." Lilac spread a dark wing over her foals, allowing them to suckle. "And a few months later, whoop! They're kicking. " She gazed into Prince's eyes as she spoke, "And I ran, thousands of miles, to this scared haven my mother told me about." She smiled. "And she may have told me about finding my true love here..." She whispered, as she leaned towards him, the colors of his fire flickering on her defined face. Their lips slowly touched, Lilac loving every second of it.

Noel tipped her head, and began to suckle. Her mother moved her leg so the twins could get to their source of food.

Prince blushed but allowed the kiss, leaning a little into the kiss. Relucantly he pried away from her lips, but stayed close to her face and whispered "I can't promise I'm your true love, but I'll try to be.." He gazed into her eyes before kissing her, possibly love flowing through the kiss.

Lilac pressed her lips against his as he kissed her. Her eyes flickered open and gazed into his fiery ones. Her warm breath flared out of her nostrils as she pulled away. Twitching her ears she turned her head and smiled. "But these babies need names. Noel and?" She turned her head to the stallion she believed was now her mate.

"I'm not their parent, you decide." he chuckled, nuzzling her cheek and looking at the foal. "But I have to admit Quest, seems to suit him..." Prince smiled, laying down in front of her, but not too far away since the tunnel was small. He leaned forward, laying a gentle kiss on her muzzle.
