CRON finished super early / no show results?

I think I'm gonna have each horse enter 5 shows and then 5 hrs of riding school. That way each horse is bound to gain stats either way.

I often do the 5 school slots/5 shows split, for horses that I'm not especially confident will show well. It usually works pretty well, though many of them don't wind up getting stats from the riding school. I may start doing that for more of my horses, if this is going to keep being an issue. :/

I understand that Abbey has a ton going on and all, but this has been going on for a very frustratingly long time, with zero indications it's being seriously looked at, whether a fix is coming, whether those shows will eventually run or whether we're just out the entry fees... :/

^ If you want a stat guarantee from the riding school, enter them for the full ten hours. Bound to get 2-6 stats, better than nothing from shows.

Seems more of a cron glitch than anything to me- as in something is stopping it from completing the script after starting the showing section. Which isn't necessarily the easiest thing to figure out what's causing it if you don't have the time to sit down and look at it properly. Just be glad it's not affecting anything else like horse resets and interest collection.

Even 10 hours doesn't guarantee stats, just so everyone is aware.

There is no stat "guarantee" at all, but as Maple said, the best bet is to give them a full session at riding school if that is what you are aiming for until shows are fixed.

I've never not gotten stats even putting 400+ horses in the riding school. So I find it a bit weird that other people don't. :/

But ten is best anyway.

I have not gotten stats multiple times, and for different horses. Maybe it's related to the type of schooling?

I'm just locking up my horses for a while. I don't think it will be worth putting all my horses into riding school.

@Sonoma - That's odd, the same thing that has happened to Maple has happened to me. I have gotten stats every single time I've collected from the school for every single horse.

I'm going to lock my account soon, probably the day my new batch of foundies hits 3.
I'm literally throwing away deluxe days (and auto care days) that I bought with actual money every day that this malfunctions :/

I don't know what to say, Maple and Wey. My experience has been different. It's occasional, maybe once a week if I have everyone in riding school, but I HAVE had days where I've gotten no stat gain on a horse from schooling. I will take a screenshot next time it happens. I always school 10 full hours.

All I can think is that perhaps in your large herds you're possibly clicking through much faster and not noticing since you still see experience, etc., pop up. With

I too have had horses get -zero- stats from a full ten-hour school session (I use trail riding exclusively). It is rare, to be sure, but it does happen.

For me personally the primary benefit of the schools is all the free 'stuff' (treats) to be gained. Up until last week when I messing around with showing every friggin' horse I own, I hadn't had to buy treats in a good 2-3 months. Doesn't make up for the loss in stats & income, but it sure saves a ton in spending when it comes to treats! :D

As I only entered two horses in shows yesterday I don't know if they (shows in general) ran/finished running. I do have results for those two horses, but when I entered them (in to the same group of shows) they were nearly full so they may have run before CRON did.

I do not have any results from the previous night/day of shows, so I'm guessing those are still in limbo somewhere.

I don't really know what to do at this point. :/ Not a fan of putting every horse in a school even though that's what I did yesterday. Was rather dismaying looking at all of the ones who would have dominated had they been able to go in to shows, but there seemed little point in entering.

Then I look at the shiny new copy of Ableton on my computer and think about all the extra time I'd have to play with that if I locked my account... ha. :P
