[ADDED] Horse Pages - Public Description

Hi Everyone!

I am not sure if this has been discussed before. I know that the horse pages have a private section for notes that are not displayed on the horses page and can only be seen by the current owner. When I played a different horse sim game, we had the ability to write public descriptions on the horses page. Some people even coded a little layout to add personality to the page. This was mostly utilized for people who would look through other peoples horses that were for sale or just to see what other people have in their stables. For example, being able to write on there specific accomplishments whether that was being club mascot one month, making the hall of fame, pedigree highlights, goals, breeding plans, etc that could be useful for someone wanting to buy your horse, breed to your horse, admire your horse or become familiar with the history of your lines. Additionally, some people would actually write little bios on their horses describing their personality and such. Just to clarify, this would be something between the horse pictures and the general info of horse age/breed/color/genetics, etc.

I have no idea how difficult this would be from an implementation standpoint, or if anyone even finds the above to even be important. It was just a feature of another game I played and I found myself missing it as it helped me with following lineage and gave personality to players breeding lines. Would love to hear some thoughts on this! Thanks!

I love this because then you post the requirements in order for mares to be bred to your stud. :D

I wonder if using the current note section and being able to toggle it to public or private would suffice. I don't use notes so I dunno if there would be situations where a user would want both public and private notes, but it could be easier to implement that way.

That would be the best way to add it in, I think. The only reason I want my notes private is because they're sloppy, and I don't feel like making them neat XD

This is a great idea. I was bummed when I found you couldnt do this.

River's idea of toggling is my favorite. But support BB Code, not HTML cause I like the uniformity of the horse pages and wouldn't want them codable. That's just me, though.
