Ferndell (Fantasy Horses|Role Play)

Ferndell, a forest hidden from the world with only one way in, through a cave hidden behind a waterfall. But, sadly this world was discovered by those they tried to keep out. The Shadow's, a group of demon horses that could care less of the Magical Equines in Ferndell. They came, and destroyed anything that got in their way, they only wanted one thing. Something so powerful that it powered the forest's magic itself. The Lumex Crystal. The Royal of Ferndell, Queen Kalisa, (A Crystal Horse and protector of the Lumex Crystal) and her guards did everything to stop the Shadow's, but they were soon overpowered and the demon horse's took off to find the Lumex Crystal. But, when the Shadow's got to the Ferndell's Crystal Ruins where the Lumex Crystal is placed to power the forest. It was gone.

When the Shadow's Leader, Lord Dracus, found out, he pillaged and razed every village the Magical Equines of Ferndell lived. Leaving them and their Queen to have to hide away as they watched their once beautiful forest burn and die.

This was easily 6 years ago, the forest of Ferndell has finally healed, but it's magic is gone. The Equine's have lost their powers long ago when their Lumex Crystal got lost too. Though, even though the forest is healed, they are still frightened to leave their hiding places, the cave's and rock walls that surround Ferndell. So, a small group of Magical Equine's came together under a new leader named Sevlan, he has said he know's where the Lumex Crystal is, and has also learned how to use his once missing powers even without the Lumex Crystal.

And with his new group, he has decided to train them again as he leads them back out into the forest of Ferndell to Fight the Shadow's that still live there as he tries to find the Lumex Crystal with his friends. But with this quest, they find out secrets they are not sure they want to know as they learn a more in depth story of how their forest died and Lumex Crystal was lost in the first place.

Summary:
Okay, yes the plot is quite long, but I do recommend you guys to read it to understand what is going on. Basically, there is a magical forest called Ferndell, the forest's magic is provided by a Crystal called the Lumex Crystal which is protected by the Queen of Ferndell, Kalisa. Soon, the The Shadow's came (A evil group of demon horses led by Lord Dracus) and destroyed everything to find this magical Crystal, the equines of Ferndell hid away in caves and no one decided to come out until 6 years later. A group created by Sevlan (Played by me) goes out into the forest to find the Lumex Crystal and bring the magic back into the forest and drive the Shadow's out.

You guy's will play the members of Sevlan's group, fighting the evil while trying to learn their powers again or for the first time (If your character is under 6 years old and was born after the the Shadow's came ).

5. Be creative, have a magical horse; even a unicorn, dragon horse, pegasus, sea horse, half breed horses (Half horse/half tiger). Use your imagination.
6. Must write in 3rd person.
7. Your character form doesn't need to be descriptive but when you RP, please write at least 3 sentences

Characters of Ferndell:
- Queen Kalisa: She is a Crystal Horse, has the power of the Crystal and even a part of it in her. She is the protector and leader of Ferndell. And even though the Lumex Crystal is gone, she still holds a bit of it's power within her.

- Ferndell Equines: These are the characters you guys will be, they are magical horses of Ferndell and some even have powers.
- Lord Dracus: Similar to his demon horses part of the Shadow's, though he has a face and his eyes do not glow. He also has control of the Shadow horses and has created them himself with his magic.

- The Shadow's: Black horses with black bat-like wings, they almost look like shadow's with their black fog, mist around them and no face features with only glowing eyes. They are extremely loyal to Lord Dracus.

Sevlan

Sevlan stood quietly in a small rock cave that was jointed with a larger one and many other caves. The wall's dark but the room was lit up with small jagged coloured crystal's that grew from the wall itself. Though this was the smallest room and had little objects in it, the dragon horse thought it would be perfect to hold a meeting, he now just had to wait for others to join him before starting.

Wisp

Wisp sighed as she walked through the cave halls and into small confining rooms pass other equines that also lived here. She had caught a little bit of information that one of the equine's here were planning on a way for them to leave these caves and fight back for their home. Her hooves scraped against the ground as she walked slowly through the caves to the room on which it would be held, she she finally reached the entrance, she glanced inside to see it empty but from a dragon horse that stood inside. "H-Hello." Wisp said to the other equine, who only nodded shortly before looking back down in thought. "This is the meeting for the..." The mare trailed off as she found the dragon horse was not listening, so she shrugged her shoulders and went inside.

Asha

Asha's heavy breathing and footfalls echoed off the dark musty cave walls as she made her way towards the small cavernous room in which Sevlan had called the meeting.
Her thoughts flew around in a blur of wondering, fear and excitement. It has been quite a time since she had heard from Sevlan or many of the other equines that shared the caves, and Asha being quite young had no idea on what to expect.

The tunnel started to open up slightly but was still dark, a warm orange glow flickered along the walls from her fiery mane and tail illuminating just enough for her to catch sight of the meeting room. Upon entering her deep red eyes landed upon Sevlan whom was deep in thought and another who she'd known as Wisp.
With a slight nod of her head and slight smile she inched her way in the room and stood to the side with a slight shiver of excitement...

Small hoof steps echoed on the cave floor as the lean equine flounced down the hall. She never tried to, but she always looked sexy while trotting.
As she came into the cave, Bo whistled, freighting her. Adi turned, ramming her head into the pegasus's crest, her antlers around his neck. Bo! Ugh! I hate you! The blue and pink stallion twisted his head, unhooking himself from the kirin's deadly grasp. You know you love me. he whispered. Adi snorted and turned, finding herself face to face with a mane of fire. OooooooOOOOOooooo! Pretty!

Sevlan

Sevlan looked up at the occupants of the room. Only four other equines were in here, and he wondered if that was all it was going to be. "Well," The red stallion started as his eyes looked from one equine to the other. "I am Sevlan, the leader of this group that I hope you will join." He started, waiting for any of them to speak up before continuing. "I have decided that being in these caves should be no more. We belong out there and it will be our mission to get our home back." Sevlan said proudly, the land outside has grown back, and despite it losing it's power, it was still their home. "And I know we may not have our powers now or some of you might not know them. But I have a way to get them back. And hopefully once we gain control of our powers again, we will fight Lord Dracus and his Shadow's and beat them out!" He added, it this he hoped would gain their attention. "Now who is with me?"

Wisp

Wisp listened to the small speech, and the thought of getting her unknown powers was a turning point for her to join the stallion. "I'm in!" She called loudly, she didn't want to miss out on winning back her home, and though she wasn't around when the war happened, she would sure be there to win this war for their home back.

Asha

After hearing the red stallion Sevlan speak, his determination and strength growing with each word the corner of Asha's mouth curved up into a grin. Excitement surged through her as she learned of his plan to take back their rightful homelands.
Asha had only ever known the dark caves as her home so the thought of a new adventure and a new home had her curious and eager to get to the job.

In response to Sevlans speech she pawed at the ground with both hooves, wings quivering restlessly she spoke strongly "Count me in!!!" Just after Wisp had announced the same, she turned to the water equine and grinned at the energy flowing off both Sevlan and Wisp.

Adi turned away from the flickering flame and turned to Sevlan. Me! She squealed, tapping her tiny cloven hooves on the rock flooring. She glanced over at Bo through her white forelock, wondering what the brash pegasus would decided.

Oh, I don't know... , the pink and blue pegasus teased. He then saw that Adi was giving him puppy dog eyes through her fluffy pale bangs. Fine. Bo answered, spreading his wings. I'm in.

Sevlan

Sevlan nodded, pleased with the responses. "That is good that you will all join me, I hope you all know what you are getting yourselves into? You may never come back." He warned them, he didn't want them to come alone and then have second thoughts, it would not go well because once they leave, they are not coming back until they are complete with their mission.

Wisp

Wisp smiled, "I will come despite the dangers, I would love to see our home again and bring the magic back." The green coloured mare said, before adding slowly as though her question was not allowed. "But how do you plan on teaching us magic if it is physically impossible without the Lumex Crystal?"

Shen

Shen stood next to Sevlan, and listened thoughtfully throughout his small speech. The stallion nodded quietly. "I agree with Wisp. My grandmother used to tell me about the lush forests and incredible waterfalls out in the open. I will gladly join!" he stated.

Pastella

The mare glanced at all of the equines as they discussed the fight. She debated silently with herself, not knowing whether to join. As Shen, her lifelong friend who was like a little brother to her, said he was going, she blurted out, "I'll go too!"

Asha

Asha stood patiently, the eagerness and excitability wavering slightly upon hearing just how big this mission is. She had no doubt in herself when it came to battle, but she had doubts upon whether or not the group would be enough against whatever evil lurked beyond the caves. "Although I don't know what is beyond the caves and what it is we're exactly up against, I trust in you enough Sevlan and your judgement of this group that we'll be enough to make a difference. We can't just stay in hiding, we need to take back our homelands and I believe that more then enough time has passed. We've been prisoners in these caves long enough".


Elva

How could she be so stupid!!! Elva thought as she raced through the caves, she was late and that was very uncommon for Elva but after running tests and studies of minerals in the caves not long after their rightful home was destroyed she hadn't much thought of time.
Her studies as of late had shown major changes and she's not sure what it meant, or better yet if it was a good thing or bad thing but she needed to get to this meeting to find out their next plan of attack.
Skidding to a walk she slowly entered the small room, now filled with a group of their kind she walked over towards Sevlan, "Sevlan my old friend, I am truly sorry for my tardiness but studies on the caves make and mineral levels have shifted and I had to finish. What is there I can do to help?" She said with slight worry in her voice, noticing the look of determination, fear, excitement and wonder on all of the others faces as she glanced around the room.

Sevlan

The dragon horse nodded at Asha's words, he too believed they have been here long enough, and that is the reason he has started this in the first place. Though when his dear friend Elva finally arrived he smiled to her, "Ah, and here I thought you would not be joining us." He said with a chuckle, "But I am glad you did. If you still would like to join us then that would be very helpful." He added soon after before he suddenly heard Wisp's voice pipe up.

"Oh, yes. I have found out that despite us not having the Lumex Crystal with us, that it doesn't mean we have lost our powers completely. But in fact, we still have them within us." He stated, waiting to hear everyone's opinions on that fact, it has been thought for 6 years now that they have all lost their powers, and haven't even bothered to try and teach the others born after the war to use their powers as it was believed they couldn't either. But Sevlan thinks otherwise.

"Is this where we all bow to yeh and yerh never endin'wisdom Sevlan?"

The deep rasp sounded from the darkness as a large figure emerged. It was rare Vane bothered himself with these types of meetings. Call him bitter or even cold and cruel but he'd been on this earth long enough to know it was merely not as simple as Sevlen claimed. And trust was not something the cutthroat stallion easily gave others. "Tell me, before I go devotin'myself to cause that could be doomed to fail, what exactly yerh plan is. Yeh speak of a way to take down the Shadows. And that is all very well and good but did yeh want to share with us said plan or are we expected to follow yeh blindly into the night."The words fell with an almost fiery venom. While some might take it as rage the once pirate knew leadership and he wasn't going to bend and follow when he didn't even know the plan or if the leader deserved his trust.

A brow ridge arched slowly as he focused his gaze on the stallion before him. The group seemed to have already bent to his will. It was simple enough to bow in the face of uncertainty. Maybe that was what he should have done but, he would not be the loner he was if he knuckled under the moment a threat or challenge showed it face. A heavy breath was forced past the umber lips of the large brute and he moved a few more long steps forward, scarred pelt shifting as the muscles pulled and coiled beneath it.

"I could quite easily follow blindly. They have already agreed to do that, but since when was I a sheep? Far from it, I think and yeh know that don't yeh? So humor me Sevlan. What is yerh plan or do yeh have none? I think yeh know as well as I do yeh need everyone yeh can get helpin' so convince me."With head high he waited, ears turned towards the stallion before him as he waited, one shifting now and then to keep track of the other equines in the cave. As usual the confident and proud once captain was challenging. A renegade and rogue to the core.

He.. he does have a point. Adi muttered, nervously clinking her hooves on the stone, slightly swaying. She turned her delicate neck to look at the orange and blue stallion, Maybe he should lead us?

Bo snorted, fluffing his feathers. He didn't like Vane at all, so he raised his neck in defiance to Adi's idea. I'm not willingly following Sevlan, so don't expect me to follow a pirate. He spat, turning his striped neck away from the group, seething.

Asha

Snorting out a nervous breath Asha eyed the blue and orange stallion. He had a presence about him that demanded attention, the same presence Sevlan had, but there was an air to Vane to put her on edge.
'Although you put forward a true and honest statement Vane, why don't we wait and hear out Sevlans plan. Then if there is flaws we may all come up with ideas on how to better that plan. After all, I'm sure Sevlan wasn't expecting us all to run headlong into the unknown and willingly putting ourselves in danger.' She said with a scrape of her hoof on the dusty stone looking between both the stallions.


Elva

After seeing the familiar blue eyes of Vane, Elva took a step back to join the now semi circle of equines. Elva hated confrontation at the best of times, and these two particular stallions have always gotten along. But both of them having such strong personalities she grew wary when in both of their company at the same time.

Sevlan

The red stallion sighed as Vane spoke up, he knew it wouldn't be too long before the argumentative stallion started questioning things. "Convince you?" Sevlan whispered in thought, he now had to convince them all? But of what? That they needed to fight back, that their home is theirs? That they have powers within them but don't know how to use them? Was this not obvious? But then again, he didn't know completely himself how he found out this information in the first place. It really just came to mind one morning, and he decided to test it out and tried to breath out hot air. It was the closet he could come to breathing fire. But it was still a start, meaning not all of his powers were gone.

With this new fact, he was so proud of himself and excited, it was a whole rush of needing to do something that came at him all at once. He didn't think about trying to convince others. Of course not many would believe him, they too think their powers are gone. "Okay, I understand that you believe it isn't possible and that I have no plan. But it is quite simple, we need to learn how to use our powers before ever getting into another war. And hopefully even find the Lumex Crystal too. I have heard some rumors about someone knowing something about the missing Crystal. But they live on the other side of this forest, so we have to travel." He started, explaining on what he planned so far. "Meaning, we need to train first, and learn even the basic's of our magic, I don't know how or why we can still use magic without the Lumex Crystal. But I do know we have them, and I believe we must learn to use them while we still can."

Wisp

The green-coloured mare hummed at the new information, traveling across the forest on some rumor, but what if it was true? She would feel bad if they didn't even try to get their Lumex Crystal back, and bring their forest it's powers again. They had to try, and if she could even learn a small bit of their powers, it would be great. She grew up after the war, so she has never seen magic ever. So she was half excited too. "I want to try, I do understand some of what Vane is saying, that we need a plan. But if we are able to get out home back, and leave these caves, then I'm willing to do anything." The mare said.
