I think...I think I'm drained. I can't seem to get anything started if it's not intended for someone else right now.

My muse...he went on vacation and took his boy toy, whom was my back up muse with him. How rude!

ugh i hate when that happens XD

what i usually do is take my dog on a long walk and listen to music and if its a nice day outside then that lifts my spirits and i end up coming back ready to crack at it, but if i go lay down and give up then i end up starting an art block D: at first it was really hard to control like i would go on a huge art block for weeks but recently i have been good at forcing myself out of it :D another way i force myself to art when its bad weather outside or i can't go out, is i have been collecting a ton of art books and i will sit and read and look at them and sketch the images or what they are teaching and it usually helps too :)

hope your muse comes back soon! ♥

I need to restart my collection of art books.

Unfortunately, I can't take the dogs for long walks due to health, which really sucks. If I did that, I'd need my roomie to come with me incase of an episode. Florida heat doesn't help either.

Im still trying to find my own triggers to help force me out of it. Anime used to, but doesn't seem to be doing so anymore. I wantd to write, but, opened my wordpad...GUESS WHAT! Can't do that either D:

It's just..so frustrating. >_< maybe I should just go look at some tutorials on how to do things in photoshop. Because. I fail in photoshop XD

I dunno if this will work for you, but I find when I'm out of art inspiration, doing something methodical and completely unartistic is what will start my creative mind going again. Trying to do more art never helps and only gets me frustrated. Doing something that is more 'left-brained' and logical and methodical, however, seems to give the artistic part time to rest and come up with more ideas.

you know, I never thought to try doing left brained activities. Now to figure out what to do to at least try that out! xD

Just a thought, but you might want to try the site FreeRice - it's a kind of game that allows you to earn rice that will actually be donated by the UN to help fight world hunger. You can choose various categories for the questions, and it's pretty fun. If you want something super logical there is a math one. :3
