Increasing Stats

#373 Posted on 2016-02-13 14:13:26

In another topic, I asked the question if there is any way to change a horse's health and conformation stats over its lifetime.

Now I also have a question about the regular stats. We used to have both feed and treats as ways to raise them. Do we only have treats now? I just used my treats, and they don't raise stats much at all - definitely less than feed and treats combined. If foal stat inheritance works the same way as it used to, are we going to be able to raise their stats enough over a lifetime of treats to achieve improvement generation by generation? Or is there now another way to raise stats that I haven't figured out yet?

Training as well as leisure riding have a chance to give out stats if I am not mistaken, though that is by pure chance.

I recall reading in the tutorial that shows may also give out stats. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Shows, treats, training, and wishing for the horses.

I think that stat gain from leisure rides is gone :)

How about health/conformation stats? Do those ever change over a horse's lifespan?

I don't know if this is related, but I have horses that I didn't do anything with yesterday other than feed, groom, water, and muck stall, and they each earned 10 stat points overnight. Where did those come from? I know this because most of them had 100 stats yesterday, and I thought it was weird that they all had the same number of stats (before the re-code they had vastly different numbers) and today they had 110. Where are these extra stat points coming from?
