Quarter Horse Racing (RP)

Camille

Camille bridled Maggie, and led her out onto the racing track. Her honey-brown hair cascaded loosely around her shoulders, and she wore a bit of makeup. She spotted Malachi on Tal, racing around the track, and Jackson, one of the trainers. Trotting over to them, still leading Maggie, Camille called, "Hey Jack!"

Sally
Sally was scrambling to get Cheri ready. She had been stressing over every little detail to have a good impression. Her blond hair was in an immaculate bun, her make up nearly perfect, and Cheri was groomed to perfection.But all of that would go to waste if she was late to meet her new trainer. As soon as Cheri's bridle was on she quickly hopped on and prance to the track. "Alright girl, let's kick some butt!," She whispered excitedly to Cheri. Cheri saw Jack and grinned. "Hey Jack, I'm Sally! Nice to meet you, and I am so so sorry to be late. What do you want us to work on first?" She glanced at the other two jockeys at the track and smiled athe them as well. "Nice to meet all of you as well!"

Camille

Camille smiled warmly at Sally, and knew she'd like to be friends with her. "Hi, I'm Camille Levesque. It's a pleasure to see a newcomer! Where are you from?" she greeted, hoping to sound hospitable. She patted the horse's neck, giving it a nice scratch.

Jack turned to look at Camille as she rounded the bend with her horse. He nodded a hello and smiled softly, about to say something when he was greeted by an unfamiliar girl.
"Ah, yes. A new rider. No worries about being late. You're only human," Jack shrugged and winked. He then cleared his thought and gestured to Malachi as he came back to the start and finish line with Tal. "Simply warm your horse up. Official training begins in fifteen minutes. So I hope the others show up soon," Jack gave Sally a pat on the arm as he walked off to round up the other riders.

Sorry for how long this was, just the introduction and any post after this shouldn't be as long.

Luke
Luke walked slowly towards the stable, his mum just dropped him off and even though they argued the whole way about him being safe and many other things, she did smile and wished him luck on his first day before he got out of the car. Being fresh out of his trainership and collage for becoming a jockey, made him excited to finally be the real deal.

He walked quickly down the large stables, looking at horses here and there. There were so many, and he thought they were all beautiful. But, soon he found the person he needed. She was a manager of sorts, and was here to welcome him. Smiling, he waved as he stopped in front of her. "Hello, I'm Luke Halvar, nice to meet you." He said, shaking the offered hand.

The lady only smiled, introduced herself and led him to his horse he would be riding. The mare was a beautiful flea-bitten grey, covered in red dots over her grey fur, her mane and tail still holding the chestnut. And her name was Sky, well... her stable name was Sky. After getting acquainted with the horse, he was told to go and ride out on the track and get the feel of the mare's movement and temperament. Riding out, he saw a group of people beside the track and he made his way over their on Sky. "Hello there, I'm Luke!"

Raven trotted West down to the other Jockey's that had gathered around their trainer, Jack. Raven had been here a couple weeks, and was eager to get started. The black mare under her side stepped as the came closer, and snorted. "Come on you butt." She told the mare, pushing her on. Her palms sweated at making a good impression on the newbies, and soon caught sight of her husbands SUV, sighing.

Ron and Kayli hopped out of their car, coming to watch Raven practice. "Hworsies!" The toddler cried, as her father carried her into the stables, as he did every time, petting the nice horses. Occasionally, they brought treats. Little Kayli left two sugar cubes on the edge of each stall, but some stuck their heads out and took it from her palm. Afterwards, Kayli had Ron pretend to be West and rode him to the edge of the fence. "Hi Momma!" She yelled waving. "Love you!" She blew a kiss, and had one returned by her mom. Even West raised her head and whinnied at the cute little girl.

Sally grinned back at Camille, then answered. "Actually I'm from Texas. My dad breeds quarter horses. I love your horse by the way! Where are you from?" She sat up as Cheri began to prance in place, bobbing her head. "Looks like Cheri want to get started. Want to talk while we do a trot warmup?"

Jack watched as Luke and Raven made their way to the track.
"And... I think that's everyone..." Jack glanced around and furrowed his brows. "Maybe not..." He knew there was supposed to be at least one more guy and one more girl there.
Jack looked down briefly at the silver watch on his left wrist. "Well, guess we'll begin, anyway," he mumbled to himself. He then strode back over to the track and stood on a higher ground so that he could see the group better and get there attention.
"Alright, guys! Make your way over here. We're starting," he called.
Malachi was already at attention, trying to get Tal to calm down and stand still.
Jack just shook his head once more. He would get rid of that stallion in a heartbeat if he weren't so darn fast and talented.

Raven started onto the track, and set West off at a slow canter. The black mare sped up, trying to catch up the the other jockey a head of her. "Woah, girl," Raven hushed as the mare fought the bit, "just warm ups." Slowing her down to a slow gallop, they completed another lap, before the two trotted over to the fence where her family was at. "Mommie!" Kayli cried as she stroked West. "Love you baby!" Raven said as she turned West around. Her daughter waved as they trotted around the track.

Right, this went silent for awhile. XD))

Luke

Luke nodded at Jack's words before joining Malachi on the track, once in reach of other the other man, Luke smiled and waved towards him. "Hey, I'm Luke!" He called, he grimaced slightly though as his helmet was slightly tighter then usual when he smiled, but he just sucked it up as as he lined his mare up with the other stallion on the track. Trying not to get too close so he didn't irritate the other horse. He wondered what they would be doing today,as this was his first day actually working at a racing stable, he wondered how they worked things around here.

Malachi looked over at Luke as he and his mare approached him and Tal. He offered a warm smile toward the other and nodded. "I'm Malachi. Nice to meet you," Malachi glanced down at Tal, whom was reaching his handsome head toward Luke's mare's, the stallion being pushy and annoying. Malachi sighed and shook his head.
