Ability to lock credit bought upgrades

I was just thinking it'd be pretty cool to be able to lock your credit bought upgrades such as auto show and auto care so for the days you don't use it you won't lose any days. Like for people who lock all their divisions or have sold all their horses, etc.

You could simply lock your account, however if you did not want to then yes; this is a good idea.

Locking an account means it cannot be used at all. I think this suggestion in essence means the account would be downgraded to a basic when you chose, with the ability to re-implement pre-paid deluxe features at a later point. Or auto-care, etc.

Seems useful. I support.

YES! I have auto care and auto show days and I just locked all of my horses because of finals. I hate to see my auto care and shows go to waste :(

Auto care and auto show m on the fence about only because account locking already locks those...

As for locking a deluxe? How is that going to work? Will your tags be removed from the forums and your account page error out because it's html to bbc? There's so much coding to temporarily remove a deluxe.

And if you don't remove the deluxe features and still allow access to the game why bother ever unlocking? I could just play with a locked deluxe and never have to buy a deluxe ever again.


All in all, I'm actually against this. Sorry. We already have acount locking for this purpse.

I don't think we should be allowed to lock Deluxe without locking the whole account.

I like this feature for auto care and auto show. I still want to access to EV but I locked all of my horses.

I'm not talking about locking your deluxe account, I'm talking more about the auto care and showing. Having the ability to lock those and still be able to use your account as usual, if that makes sense

You could just as easily lock your account while cron runs/overnight?

That would work if I locked all my divisions at once. Sometimes I'll lock the bigger ones but I'll keep the ones with 3 or 4 horses open cause I know I can care for those real quick but would like for their shows and stuff to run, but I will try your suggestion of just locking my account at night

I think with account locking they are talking about progression.

account locking was a different thing, i don't know how it worked exactly but i think it was more like freezing accounts instead of just not progressing. not sure if you could still play with a locked account, like use the forums or send messages? but people used to lock their accounts if they had to leave for a while.

i kind of like the auto-tools having uses suggestion from here better, locking auto-tools would mean i'd have to know in advance whether i choose to use them the next day as opposed to deciding after progression. i usually don't know whether i can even log in until way after roll over happens.

I agree with Forgottenland. It makes more sense for Auto Show/Care to be diminished on use versus just locking them entirely.
