Hi, I am still quite new but I feel like it's very slow moving in the beginning.. I understand the restrictions with with levels but I wish there were more ways to earn experience (Maybe leisure riding) I am having a hard time leveling up and I just want to unlock and explore more things in this game.

(Other than that I LOVE the game *.* )

Hmm, no support for now, since we don't want to make it too easy actually. When daily showing the first few levels for unlocking everything will go really quick already, quick enough to my liking.

I wouldn't mind this. Leveling is dragging, even with showing all my horses.

Obviously we dont want to make it too easy but I think some more ways of leveling would be great (needless to say you dont HAVE to use the new ways of leveling but it would be a nice option) I am talking like 10 XP per ride or something? not anything huge tho.

Thank you for sharing your opinions, I like knowing other POV aswell (:

I do support this but it's not just the beginning.

Unless you are really successful with 400-700 stat foals already on the ground or established lines

Or

Have hundreds upon hundreds of horses the leveling does just drag. I've stopped paying attention to it. Mainly because for what seems like forever my status has been stuck on level 10 I know once you get up in the levels it shouldn't feel like it's taking forever.

Starting out I can understand it being challenging, I have no idea what it's like to go through levels 1-10 but I can only imagine how much time money and horses it would take :/

I have 120 horses and it feels like it's dragging lol... I want level 30 so I can play with photomanips ♥

It took me about a week maybe for level 17? Every level feels twice as hard as the last - I've only made 7 levels since the new game has opened (and I show, treat etc every day).

I'm on level 27 and it took me three weeks to get there from 26, though I'm noticing it's increased in speed ever since training was implemented. Sooo I don't think we need more ways to earn exp, because you stop levelling up when you hit level 30 anyway. It's part of the game to be challenged and more of an accomplishment when you do finally hit your goal.

I dunno, I was actually thinking about this very thing earlier - except I was feeling like things were bordering on becoming too easy. :| BUT, I have a lot of horses and therefore do a lot of training and showing. I just hit level 29 a couple of days ago and am already 25% of the way to 30. I do realize that for the 'smaller' player things are going to take longer, especially as you get higher in the levels.

IIRC the early levels went very, very quickly, at least in beta and when this version fully opened. Is that no longer the case?

Training is only going to speed things up if you have a ton of horses and the arenas to train them. If you train your horses at someone else's arena? They get the exp, not you.

I've managed an amazing 5 levels since the game's opened, and that's with doing everything daily. I think there's been maybe two or three days where I didn't do anything.

You still get Member Experience form training in other people's arenas? As long as you're in the right discipline and grade arena for your horse you get Experience. The arena only gets the single horse experience for the other player. I've been training my horses on my spare account in the Arenas on this account and gaining experience fairly well I think. I haven't actually checked numbers exactly, because I still have about 100 horses on that account, but it seems to continue climbing steadily, if slowly.

I did have a gander at the Experience per level earlier today though and it is a bit high in between since it doesn't seem to stack, but if you want something you've got to work for it, and this really shows how hard you're working. I've seen many new players that have surpassed level 6 already and are able to do everything on the game, so it's doable, just takes time.
I do believe is a great discrepancy is shown in progress there will be adjustments an tweaks to the system to help people progress at a reasonable speed.

Also @Rising Dawn, Levels went much quicker at the opening because there was a bug where Player Points were being added as experience, and you get more points than experience per show xD

I have about 100 horses (about 20 2nd/3rd gens, 60 7/8 year old 1st gens, and 20 20 yo first gens, so all relatively decent stats) and train every day, as well as show lowest entries on them. I don't know how much that itself has helped (my babies turning 3 probably has something to do with it) but I've gone through levels a bit quicker recently. I think I've leveled up around once a week? Roughly.

All that said I wouldn't mind if there were more things you could do to raise your experience, cheap/free things (such as rides) for new players with fewer horses and less money starting out to work their way up a little easier.

I may suggest that if you're thinking anything outside of rides, think of something more specific and suggest that. I feel it's a lot easier to have a valid suggestion that may be considered if you have a real idea you're wanting to see.

Then things were changed. When arenas were first implemented, I gained no exp for using other people's arenas (I will have to check to see if this holds true in the morning). The point remains that experience gained from training horses is minimal. Depending on the level I only gain an average of ~70 experience for novice to ~150 for the upper levels.

Of course the new players are doing well. The lower levels don't require nearly as much experience as the higher level ones. To get to level 6, just under 500k exp is needed. For me to get to level 16, it's just over 471k.

It's an immense drag and the fact that there's no rewards to look forward to until level 30 makes it a slogging grind.

I'd like to know if that's the case! Since you should be getting the experience from training to your account, if not I'd think that's a bug.

The First few levels are what unlocks the major features of the game, so that's a good thing for the experience point gain. Levels should go up exponentially and become harder to achieve as you get further in.

Maybe there will be "rewards" for leveling up in the future at different levels, but for now you can bask in the personal achievement of going up a level.

IIRC the only thing level 30 offers is allowing personalized images on your horses. If you're into that it's great otherwise you're just sort of riding the thrill of reaching new levels until the grinding halt of 30. I don't care about images and since I'm lvl 14 I've unlocked everything that I really need, so I'm just enjoying raising my little pixels and going up a level is a fun little extra bit lol

Well I hoped people would also suggest different options. I think like 1 xp per turn on leisure riding isnt too much and would be a nice thing to add to the game.

Maybe a cool thing to start is "Weekly challenges" to earn XP maybe it could be a club thing or delux member thing? I think Something more like this would be a fun addition to the game.

Also hopefully later on There will be more levels and more things to do. This is still a very new game.
