so what do we do now?

I'm back after and i dunno how long hiatus...a couple years, at least! Glad to see Equiverse is still hanging in there ♥

Prior to that, I think I joined in 2016, so I was there pre-new game! I didn't really have any "claim to fame", other than briefly having the highest statted Nokota horses on the "old" game, and my brP line of western Paints, lol

I know the site is no longer under development, and while that does stink, I'm very glad that its still around for me to kill some time on! However, what are we doing now? What are the majority of breeders striving for? I always bred for stats, but I feel like maybe there isn't as much emphasis on stats nowadays? Basically, I'm bored, and also trying to keep up with whatever the cool kids are doing here nowadays, lol

for me it's just been the same as usual, my drive to keep my lines going hasn't really changed that much. i have a lot of different goals and projects i'm still picking away at, like trying to breed an International level Chincoteague and progressing my Andalusian line to someday be on the level of older lines without being related. so it's just pretty cozy and quiet, i guess what we're doing these days is basically whatever we want to. c:

My main focus is lower NSS, and then a little focus conformation, but I don't understand the mechanics of that enough to make it my top priority. I'd say it really depends on what you want out of your horses. For sales purposes, low NSS and higher conformation are sort of key. That and new lines, since theres plenty of super high stat and confo old lines out there, and people need some new blood. But if selling your foals isn't really important to you, than the worlds your oyster! I mostly say do what makes you happiest, as sometimes selling can be a pain anyways c:

My opinion is play the game however you want to play it. There’s not enough stability to be able to rely on other players.
Currently breeding the nss down + upping the conformation. It’s a rinse and repeat tbh.

I'm in the same boat! I've been around since 2013 but I recently decided I'm back for good. What does NSS mean ya'll?? just breeding high st's at QH's atm and got lucky enough to start a good quality line of Andy's as well. Sales and breeding seem to be difficult with not very many active users. I'm always worried my fav studs  are gonna disappear if the person isn't active on a regular basis

My main focus is stats and low NSS.
I am now beginning to incorporate raising/improving conformation as well.

That's what I am focusing on. I am playing it how I want to :3

Sounds like a plan! That's pretty much what I've always done anyways, lol

I do hate that breeding/selling doesn't seem to be popular nowadays, 'cause I always enjoyed sharing my horses and hard work in the past. It wasn't even really the money aspect, just sharing something I was proud of :)

I am breeding to lower nss while improving conformation with my horses. I also run quite a few clubs and I think that could be a really fun aspect of the game for people when they participate in contests. I don't sell often but when I do my horses do sell. It probably depends on what breeds/disciplines you work with. The more popular they are the more likely they will sell.
