any old timers still around?

I can't remember if I know you from my earlier days! I've been here since like 2008 or something ridiculous like that. Many hiatus' and just came back from a 2 yr break also. Bit saddened about the way the game is going but actually really enjoying it at the moment. I would certainly love seeing some art and getting back into collecting some for my characters. 
Just doesn't seem to be much of anything going on here anymore, understandably so but maybe us old timers can get it going again.

-waves- circa 2008 here! Pre one of my children, actually! Crazy. I lurk about for the most part, take care of the pixels. Family, work, teenagers -shudders- have taken up the bulk of my time. But tending to the pixel ponies are my down time. Shifting to more wfh 3 days a week has really opened up my "computer" time lol

@Blink - i don’t recognize your username but I’m sure we crossed paths! With the bad news I’ve felt a new vigor towards being active around here not just cus I missed it but maybe we can dredge it up from the dead, who knows! I feel like all the site really needed was better advertising, it’s just as good as other similar ones and with cheaper upgrades. Either way you can count on seeing more art from me at least! 

@Niner - it’s so weird how all of us are at -that age- now, I don’t have kids but maybe one day when I stop feeling too much like a kid myself lol. I’m glad you’ve found the time to keep up with it as a hobby esp with how busy you are!

Coming back here at the end of all things as well. Been here since January 2012, though with multiple long hiatuses in recent years. I was going to make my come back next year and be active, until I was told by one of my best friends yesterday about the state of the game. So, had to come on earlier to reconnect with old friends and ensure everyone knew where to find me when the game does eventually go away. Glad to see loads of familiar faces on this thread alone! 

@Sib - OMG Sib! I still have one of your art passes that I never got to use! haha Good to see you're back here too!

I don't really feel like an oldtimer, but I joined in 2017, but also mostly long hiatus' and then a period of playing. But this time around I've been back for over 6 months.
Not sure if you played at the same time, or guess I probably would've remembered. The art on your profile is absolutely wonoderful! ^_^

Hope you'll hang around for a bit. All these older players might help keep the game going. And well, it was still making enough revenue to keep the server up, so hopefully we can come back here for years to come!

Thunderhead! Really great to see your name my long-time old friend! I am not active on EV much anymore, but always do find myself coming back here to pop in occasionally to hopefully see some dear names from the past ♥. 
I joined in Oct 2013 and hard to believe that was a decade ago already! This game has been an enormous part of my life in several ways. It introduced me, and some lovely members taught me how to do digital art, I fell in love with the characters we design/sell/buy, along with purchasing sigs/tags and selling them. 

Members on here are the best part of this game, though. I always smile so much when I see an "old" name appear again. I love you all. 

So saddened to read that the game is no longer being developed and may ultimately come to an end. I suppose all good things always do. But wow is this game a part of me and will likely always be!

@Blodwyn - I’ve definitely been on and off 2017-now! And like you I’m trying to make it stick this time for a longer run, thank you so much btw ;;

@Frosted -HEYY long time no see!! I joined 2014, sometimes I wish I could see the old EV site just for nostalgia purposes haha, can’t believe how far we have all come! I’m with you, I actually really enjoy seeing old usernames pop up again, this game has always been a small, tight knit community. Sad to hear you’re not very active any longer but happy I caught ya online!

Soooooo nice to catch up with the both of you again, Thunder/Siren!

It's so nice to see so many "old" names around here again! As Frosted Mint said, Equiverse has truly shaped my life in such a positive and profound way. I may never have gotten into digital art or even known about GIMP had I not been here. I was 14 when I first joined and now I'm 25, it's crazy to look back and see how far we've all come as people and as artists. A lot of you were and still are my artistic inspirations and many of you helped me grow as an artist. I cherish all of you so much and although I'm on other sim games, EV will always be the one that I have the most love and nostalgia for. I'm hoping to stick around here and not go on any more extended hiatuses. The two designs I posted on Color Tradeoff and Design Trade Game were actually the first two designs I've done in nearly a full year due a severe art block. Now I feel super inspired! I have EV and the community here to thank for that. And I intend to fully show my gratitude and finally celebrate my 10th and 12th Equiversaries in January. I still can't believe I let myself miss the 10th one. 

@Blink: It's so nice to see you on here again! I think we took our hiatuses around the same time XD. But, I'm planning some art and design sales (the latter of which is almost ready to go up) so I'll drop you a message when I have recolours available or commission spots open. I'm planning to redo some old bases/tags in my newer style so the nostalgia will be running rampant for sure. I'd also love to catch up, it's been awhile since I heard what you've been up to outside EV. 

@Thunderhead: I've always been a huge fan of your art style and characters! It's really nice to see you back on and hopefully here to stay. 

@Siren: I was so excited to see your name popping up, especially in the design game spaces! From here to dA, you've been a massive inspiration and a friendly "face" to see. Your art style is iconic and one I always recognize without ever having to see the signature/name. I can be a little shy on here (coming back from a massive hiatus is a little nerve-wracking ngl), but I'd love to catch up with you sometime! 

@Frosted Mint: I still look at a bunch of your characters with heart eyes (was just on your site seeing who you still have and ones you've gotten since I last was on here) and I love the art I've gotten from you over the years for my own. Your signature and tag are absolutely gorgeous btw!

Oh wow! The so called 3 Musketeers were some of my very favorites. I ought to do those fun themed character adopts again. They were a blast! Also I'd be happy to revamp that little appy for you into a full character reference sheet, if you'd like to drop me a message we can work out a deal for a reference sheet.
