Tried to draw the horse's mane on a smaller scale

I was messing around trying to draw plaits...the whatevers I know that's what they're usually called in the UK, the rolled up braids- these. But anyway tried to draw them for a tag, so on a 150x150 canvas and I've never done it digitally, only traditionally, and it came out like this, thoughts and ideas on them?

I quite love it the way it is, but you can change it if you want, I don't mind!

I think I'll keep it similar, just re-do it to keep them consistent in size :D I've quite grown to like them lol

Edit: see I think these ones came out much more natural looking, still not perfect but if the world was perfect it would be boring I guess :3
You can't really see the difference here, bc it's smol, but it really helps, just trust me bro

OH no, my stupid self decided to make it a dapple grey, using this wonderful guide, I realize now it's a bad idea but I'm too far along to change it ;^;

I'd have to double check, but I don't think Bronzehalo allows people to make changes to their lines, and it's still not your own art. Bronzehalo still has to be credited. They drew the lines.

I checked the rules multiple times, it says "Do anything you like with these, as long as credit is given."

And yes, this was just my rough design for the mane, I haven't added credits yet bc I need to make sure it's somewhere that'll work with the background :)
