I personally would keep him as-is. But, if you want a newer version, just make an entirely new character. Like similar in style, but just not Nishe'. Like this one could be Nishe's older sibling?

Hmmm...I've never revamped unnaturals before, but for crazy body colors I like to color them like you would a normal color. i.e. , maybe a darker shade of his current blue as a gradient over the upper half of his body, or use a soft brush to apply it to his hips and shoulders and back, and then a lighter shade along his whole underside - like a blue pangere!
