Im not really into the crossbreeding thing..However, I've always wanted the sooty gene added to Appys, Paints and Qhs.. So  the only reason I'm playing with crossbreeding is to get my sooty appy, paint patterns lol.. Im using my sooty chincos to bring in the sooty to my appys, paints, qh..
These are my first attempts lolz.. so glad their stats and confos are pretty good too..

Got this neat little dude today! His NSS are through the roof because his parents aren't of the same specialty since I was just doing this for fun lol. Pretty happy with getting a perlino from two buckskins though!

Also love your horses, Windspun !!! They look like panthers :)

However they're only for the looks, not for stats or nss. They'll be retired once I see how they turn out at 3-year-old. I just couldn't resist my curiosity :)

@Lenka.. ahhh I love them!! Ya, Im so curious to see what the sooty looks like once they age up. I did breed a bunch of appies with some chincos just to experiment and see what the coats look like when they age up lol. I'll delete them once I get a look at their adult coats.. gonna stick with m Nez Perce Horses for now.. at least I can get sootys with the Teks lol

My first Nez Perce foals ( Appaloosa x Akhal Teke)  I've decided to start a breeding program for The Nez Perce Horse... So glad I can now have my sooty Appies hahah... ( ps for anyone interested, I am in the process of setting up a club to register the Nez Perce horses as well).. still in the works yet.. but its comin lol

Hi friends, just a quick query. I seem to be struggling to create a Grade Horse between my own horses. I have turned my settings on to allow requests for cross breeding but when I go on any of my horses and attempt to breed it is still only giving me the options of that horses own breed. Have I missed something?

You've really inspired me with your Nez Perce idea and I'd love to follow your footsteps (love all your grade foals by the way).
I'm trying to gather energy and time to unlock my horses but it's not going well as all my time and mental energy is sucked by this horrific real life event in Europe. It's just too close to the bone and I can't seem to be able to switch off reality and relax for a moment, no matter how much I'd like to. I'll just keep watching your progress for the time being :) Keep up the good work ! :D

@ Lenka.. big hugz to you.. I know how you feel.. Im watching CNN 24/7, stocking up on supplies in the event things take a turn for the worst..It's very difficult to watch and hard to believe that the actions of one man could cause so much pain and suffering and put the entire world in danger.. I stand with Ukraine!

Ty so much for the kind words about my Nez Perce project! It will take some time but will be fun to finally see some sooty Appy patterns in the game lol..
I'm in the process of setting up a Nez Perce Registry and it will be there,  should you decide at some point to give it a go  :)

I was considering going the Knabstrupper route. I was thinking about crossing Appaloosas with Trakehners and breeding them for show jumping
