...That breeding Clydesdales for color is fairly pointless. They can be black, bay, or chestnut?

I love the art, but I wish they had more color lol. It's more of which color do you prefer. I'd probably go towards bays and blacks. But, that's just me.

Excuseee you all, Friesians are awesome because they only come in one color. My policy is to ignore the phantom chestnuts and get only lovely blacks, because my Friesians were once Haflingers that came in One Color Only. It makes it a lot easier to focus on stats and conformation when you don't have to worry about color xD Also 1k less per horse if you don't have to gene test ;]

If you want to breed for color go for miniatures. They have a wide variety of color and markings.

Hey Fries have two face markings that are white :P Lol I'm with Sab, tis why I picked my Halfies to become Fries as well XD But I also have my other ponehs so I can see colors :D at least with Fries, if you're a grey hater, which I'm not, you don't have to worry about them being grey XD

I don't breed for Chestnut in Friesians, either. Gyspy Vanners have a lot of color too. That's my main breed, I've chosen.

I'm on a mission to breed Chestnut Clydes! lol! I love chestnut on any breed, but Clydes are my favorite & I just learned chestnut was an option. I have Chestnut GV and lots of other lovely GV. Most of my color variety is in my Mustangs though.
