Nyx
     "I've only seen him like this once before..when Agatha passed. He's had a rough time this past week or so. I could only imagine how he feels right now. Just give him some time Star," she said concerned about him too. "In the meantime, how are you doing?" she asked knowing Rowan wasn't the only one who had been through a lot lately. 

Rowan
     Rowan was resting his eyes when Sky came up to him, "Yes Sky," he said before the filly laid down next to him as he sighed, "You know I thought I had lost you today..." he said looking down at her. He saw the cut that was made on her small flank from what looked like a whip. 

Star
     "I'm doing okay, just worried about him though" she looked at him and sky laying down together. She was grazing with nyx for a while, when they are talking. "How are you doing?" She asked her half-daughter, cause her mate was nyx's father. Star nuzzled her half-daugther "I know, he in gonna get through this, so can we" she said with a smile on her face.

Sky
  "I'm sorry, I-i just that I could get you some flowers to cheer you up, me has been worried about you these last few days". She felt guilty of what she did, and honestly felt bad about it "I wasn't trying to cause any harm o-or trouble daddy" she said with teary eyes, and snuggled closely to him. She didn't wanna look her whip mark the man made. "I'm sorry I got caught daddy, me didn't even knkw they were there, when me was looking for flowers" She looked her sire in the eyes.

Rowan
     "I know Sky, but this is why we are further up north. It's too dangerous to go down back to the grazing grounds because of the men. Sky I'm just trying to recover and process from what happened to me those few days I was gone. That's why I have those same wounds," he said thankful that he didn't lose her more than he was mad, "Sky I am mad at you, but I am so thankful that I didn't loose you." he said nuzzling her. "Let's just hope the man learned his lesson to not mess with your dad," he said with a small chuckle as he slightly nudged her, "and I hope you learned yours too," he said.

Nyx
     "I've been worried like you, but I've been trying to stay positive. Though, I have realized Thunder keeps on playing with Apollo for what seems to be nonstop, but it keeps Apollo from getting into any trouble," she said with a laugh. 
     "Hey! I heard that!" said Apollo with a bit of a snort.

Sky
     "Will you be mad at me forever, because of what I did daddy?" She asked her sire, and was scared of the outcome of the answer. She felt like little disappointment of daughter, because she didn't listen to her sire, and stay with the herd. "I did learn my lesson daddy. Me never hopes to go through that again. It was scary daddy. Me got a boo boo because of it" she shivered at the though of it. She snuggled closely to her sire warmthness. She yawned sleeply.

Star
     "Atleast he is keeping him out of trouble" she chuckled watching him playing with thunder. The sun started to setting as it was getting darker out. She laid down, and started to close her eyes, she looked over at her mate, and sky cuddling closely together, and she smiled.

Rowan
     "No, but I'm not as mad as you think I am," he said nuzzling her, "I'm glad to hear that. I went through it for a couple days Sky, and I'm glad I was able to get you out of there as quick as I did. There will always be danger Sky, but sometimes you have to face it. Though, I think you handled yourself well earlier," he said with a smile, "You didn't give up, and you kept fighting. Just like..me..." he said.

Nyx
     "Indeed. I think we've had enough of that for now," she said. Nyx went over to Rico, and laid down beside him. Apollo eventually did the same, and Thunder trotted over to his mother.
     "How's he doing?" asked Rico concerned about Rowan like most of the herd was. 
     "Not too well...but he just needs time.." she said looking at her father and Sky.
     "Those two have been through a lot down there, but they'll be fine," he said.

Sky 
    " Me learned from the best daddy" she smiled softly, as she yawned tiredly from a long day she had today. She laid her head on her legs, and closed her eyes. Not long after she closed her eyes she fell to sleep with her sire. "Me loves you daddy" she said while she was sleeping.

Star
   Not long after she had closed her eyes, she had fallen to sleep with thunder by her side. She cuddled closely to him, making sire he was still there. Though she did have a bit of rough time sleeping, she got a decent amount of sleep through out of the night.

Rowan
     "Me too," he said with a smile. Rowan looked over at Star and Thunder with a sigh as he soon enough closed his own eyes. For once, he had finally slept. The stallion still got some flashbacks, but not as intense he woke up. Rowan was still fast asleep by the next morning, and slept for awhile after the sun was up. Though he did wake up to see everyone else up and going. The stallion slowly stood up and stretched shaking his head and mane. Rowan walked over to a small patch of grass and slowly grazed, but he didn't graze for long. 

Thunder
     Thunder was up and ready to go when the sun had started to come up, "Mom! Wake up! Can you take me to the river!?" he said waking his mother up while his father had slept and will for awhile. "C'mon! Can we?" he said really wanting to go. "It's boringg here!" he said.

Star
     "Okay okay silly! We will go to the river! Just give me a mintue" she chuckled as she got up to stretch her body. She grazed for a mintue "Did you tell your father where we are going for a bit mister?" She asked her colt. She waited for thunder to back to go to the river. As soon as thunder came back from telling his sire, where they were going they started to travel to the river.

Sky
    Sky was still sleeping as her sire was waking up, she was really exhausted from the other night, and had happened. She could sleep through the hole day if she wanted too, but she felt a nudged, which was a familiar nudge, who had tried waking her up "hmmm daddy is that you?" She said sleepy. She didn't wanna get up from her slumber,

Thunder
     "Yay!" he said as he pranced over to his sire, "Dad we're going to the river!" he said excitedly anxious to go.
     "Alright just be careful," he said with a small chuckle as he raced back over to his dam.
     "Let's go!" he said prancing happily to the river.

Rowan
     Rowan nudged Sky, "C'mon get up sleepy head. Your brother and mother are heading to the river. You should join them," he said waking her up. "Enjoy the last bit of warmth before winter hits," he said, "They just left for the river, catch up with them while you still can," he said.

it's a bit short

Star
    Star chuckled on how happy he was to go to the river, and she wondered if sky was gonna join them going to the river "is your sister gonna come with us to he river?" She asked her son.  It was gonna take them a bit to get to the river.

Sky
     " but daddy me is exhausted, and me is a bit sore on the cut me got yesterday" she was scared to anywhere now, because of the far humans could be at any place. She wanted to stay where was now "m-me don't wanna g-go daddy" she said scaredly to her sire.

Thunder
     "I don't know. How long until we get there?" he said wanting to just race over there, but knew he'd get in trouble.

Rowan
     Rowan sighed, "I am too Sky, but you won't be able to go and play soon enough," he said, "I have the same cut you do Sky, I just have a lot more than you, but I keep on going. The men won't be coming for us for some time Sky. I told them who's boss, but you never go and hang out with your mother." he said knowing how she felt. "Sky there will always be danger, and you can't just hide from it forever. At some point, your going to have to face it," he said before turning away and going to graze a little more. The cuts in his mouth were slowly healing, but still prevented him from eating a lot, which caused him to loose some weight.

I didn't know what else to put for thunder ;-;

Star
    "Just a bit farther, and before you even think what I think you are gonna do, don't even think about it" she chuckled. After an hour walk to the river, they had reached the river "heheh go ahead go play" she said as she was about to splash him with some water.

Sky
     "Why wouldn't I be able to play soon? Me though I would always be able to play around with big bro" she asked her daddy. She had gotten up, and walked over to her sire, with a bit of a limp, since the whip mark was on her small flank. "Why didn't u go with momma?" She could see he was distance himself from her a bit. "You seem to distance yourself from momma abit daddy"she said to her sire, while being curious.

Thunder
     Thunder raced into the water as he splashed water everywhere. Soon enough, he was soaked with water. "Mom? Why don't we go back home? There's more room to play down there," he asked out of curiosity. It didn't take long for Thunder to start playing in the water again, and went in the deeper part. "Mom look!" he said as he was swimming.

Rowan
     "Winter is close. There will be a lot of snow on the ground, and it'll be cold," he said knowing winter was close, "I was away from the herd for a few days Sky. I need to stay with the herd at least for now...I've just been trying to recover and process," he said with a sigh as he saw her limp, "The water will help with that," he said.

Star 
   "Thunder don't go too dark into the river" she to carefully watch him, as he went into river deeper. The made stood at the edge of the shoreline of the river, in case she needed to jump in to save thunder. " Do u wanna go home, we can if you want to dear" she watched as started to swim "Good job buddy!" She smiled at him.

Sky
    "So me can't play during the winter? What's me suppose to do then daddy?" She had asked her sire. If she couldn't play in the winter, then she had no clue what she was gonna do for the next three months, and they were gonna be a long three months. She tried making daddy feel better these last days, by spending time with him "can you play with me daddy!?" She smiled st her sire.

Thunder
     "No I mean back where we used to stay. Why did we leave that place in such a hurry?" he said going up to his mom and shook right in front of her as he laughed. "Gotcha," he exclaimed, "Who's that?" he asked as Cisco approached. 

Rowan
     "Well I guess you could, but you wouldn't be able to play as much. I'll play with you, but when your mother and brother come back, your going to spend some time with her alright?" he said as he played with her for a little while. 

Lily
     Lily had watched the whole thing happen with the little filly the previous day from her bedroom window. The teenage girl looked over to see her gelding happily galloping around in the paddock. She put on her boots, and fetched her horse, Colonel a dark bay dutch warmblood gelding. "C'mon boy let's go for a ride," she said tying him up so she could tack him up. A little while later, and they were in the trails going on a slow paced trail ride. "I wonder how the herd is doing. Bart isn't going to be up here for awhile," she said happily but curious about the herd.
