Cats Are Ridiculous

#25321 Posted on 2016-03-31 18:57:09

My two bobtailed ginger kitties, named Fred and George, just jumped up, rang the doorbell and ran when my husband answered the door. Folks.. we were just Ding-Dong-Ditched by the Weasley Twins! Lol!

What's the most ridiculous thing your pet has done?

That's awesome xD my cat knows how to hang onto our porch door and let it flip up so we hear it and let him in.

Something ridiculous...my dog Ember (passed away in January ; ~ ; ) was the weirdest dog ever. We would always call her dumb, but honestly with all of her strange antics and behaviors, she was really smart.
We would always feed the two smaller dogs on my dad and stepmom's bed so Ember and our large pooch wouldn't eat their food. Ember was sneaky, and always went for it the second someone looked away.

As you might know, if one dog in any area barks, generally the rest will too. Well, Ember knew this somehow. So one night, she was on the bed getting mad that she couldn't snatch any food...so she stood up, started to bark, which made the little dogs jump off and race to the front room to bark at the door.

Then she went quiet and crawled over to the food.

Oh, ya know... typical cat stuff. One of our cats frequently opens drawers, crawls UNDER the one she opened, to the drawer underneath, and snuggles up there. We only realize she's there when we try to close the drawer and realize it won't close... She also frequently opens the bathroom door...

my cats are demons... @____@

They like to steal food right out of my hands, or the bowl/plate I'm eating off of.
The kitchen sink, even empty and cleaned, is their favorite place to try and find food.
They learned how to open a kitchen cabniet and steal junk food out of it.
Silicone, of any kind, even clean rubber scrapers, are their favorite snack.
Merida has headbutted closed windows numerous times thinking they were open and had the sill to sit on.

My kitchen is spotless now that I can't even leave a crumb out, or they'll find it. There's plenty of stories, but these are the ones that come to mind atm. x)

Hmmm, my cat likes to nudge open the bathroom door only when people are in there using it, or showering o_o he also knocks my mom's contact maker solution thing out of her hands and shoves the contacts down the drain when she tries to put them on...jerk.

You literally CANNOT shut my cat out of any room unless you want a headache and a wrecked house.
D'Artagnan (Dart) will SCREAM at closed doors and start clawing at the door and carpet... little demon.
He also eats shear curtains... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Leaves crumbs of food everywhere... like he refuses to eat them.. ever.
He also sleeps under the comforter on my bed... my husband and I have squished him several times because we can't tell that he is there...

He is a little oddball. But we love him regardless.

One of my cats likes to harass me by chewing on my electronics. Cell phones, new laptop, computer speakers, etc. She will literally hover her mouth over the stuff and wait for me to tell her to stop it before biting down. I think she thinks it's a game. -_-

The other cat likes opening cabinet doors for no apparent reason. I'll just hear thudding in the bathroom and know it's Sunny opening the doors - he grabs them from the bottom and yanks them open. He's hilarious because he isn't like normal cats who open doors with their noses - he walks up to the door and just BAM slams his paw into it like he's some macho dude in an action movie - half the time the door opens half the way lol.

My cats enjoy catching literally everything and bringing it to us. Over the past two months, the have brought us like 3 Voles, 2 Frogs, 2 Squirrels, 2 Birds, and they even dug a Mole out of its pile of leaves and chased it down the driveway(Which we went and put it in a bucket to get pictures and videos and then we let him go.).

Hahaha omg those naughty rascals!

I dont think my cats have ever done something so ridiculous. They're both indoors so they cant get into toooo much trouble. Though simon climbs clothing drawers if they are left open too much..... But they both know a lot of cool tricks at least? XD (monroe is a pro at everything, simon is still learning from monroe the tricks)
