Image Storing?

#241113 Posted on 2021-06-14 06:31:37

What is everyone using to store images on lately? I used Tinypic and Photobucket back when it was free, but now I'm not sure where I can move all my tag art to so I can still use it.
I tried Google photos and Deviantart but it wont let me use the image URL to put one of my old custom tags back up it says it can't find the image.
Sooooo am I doing something wrong? Best site to use? Help a girl out it has been a while *nervous sweats*

I've always used imgur, it's pretty straightforward.

You need to make sure the link copied ends in jpg/jpeg or png to be displayed. However dA/Sta.sh have really long links now since partnering with Wix so it's probably too long for the input box. Imgur is a pretty safe choice.

Reputable free programs are GIMP and Krita that a lot of players here tend to use. Other people/most professionals (read: commissioned/expensive artists) in art tend to use Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop. I personally only use Photoshop.

Looks like im using imgur then!
I used to use Photoshop Elements, but I am very undecided right now. I want to be able to go back and do what i used to, photo editing, manips, and pixel/digital painting art. Stuff got expensive over the years.

Imgur is the best site for hosting images. Really tiny links and you can keep it hidden!

Gimp, Krita, medibang and firealpaca are the most popular free art softwares.

Photoshop is good, but its subscription only now which sucks.

clip studio paint and paint tool SAI are other pay to use options but only a one time payment and are also pretty popular to use!

I personally use photoshop and medibang!
