Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Marzipan came out of the water, coughing up water, soaking wet, his mane covering his face, and very annoyed. "Bamar, you did that on purpose!!!!" He shook hard, soaking everyone around him, and then glared at Kifo. "You watch it bro. You may be the next one to be dumped into the river!" He stalked off to groom himself and watched the training.

Vitani gazed towards his direction after he left, thinking about him all the while. She sighed happily, so glad they could be together again. Marzipan had always been close to her, even though they had only known each other for a few days as cubs. I trotted to the Great Rock, hoping to find someone familiar to her.

Revarta smirked as he watched the whole scene play out, letting out a low growl when Marzipan shook water onto him. He shook out his white coat, mumbling to himself as he did so.

Little Neeru slowly woke up, rubbing her eyes with her paws and yawning widely. She buried her light, baby blue head into her father's mane. "Morning Daddy.." she purred, nuzzling his cheek and looking up into his eyes with her snow, white ones.

Oloi just woke up himself, but jumped up on top of his father's mane. He pawed at him playfully, full of energy as usual. He was a silvery white, inheriting the grayish hairs from his grandmother and the white from his mother. His eyes were a deep, royal blue, so very hypnotizing. On the tip of his tail was the same color as his eyes.

Dollu giggled as he showed his happiness by licking her repeatedly. "I was going to ask if you were pleased, but it doesn't seem like I have to ask." she grinned, returning the licks with nuzzles and kisses on the cheeks.

Teferi purred deeply and nuzzled her deeply. "You are the only lioness for me. I may have lots of lionesses, but they ain't getting me for a mate unless you approve of them. You're the only one Queen for."

Marzipan smiled at the scene before him, enjoying the warm sunshine on his reddish brown pelt, and even though he would not admit it; he liked being able to get that mud out of his mane.

Kacy walked proudly out of the main den, head held high, a proud smile on her face, with her three cubs, now strong three year old's, following her as she led them to the rocky floor to bless them as they went off on their first individual hunts. She spied a lone lioness, looked at her closely, something was familiar about her, but she waited patiently for her to come over.

"I like the sound of that." she purred, leaning into his nuzzles and closing her eyes. Dollu breathed in his scent, taking it in a deep breath so she could remember him always. "Oh Teferi...you can be sure I'll never forget you.." her voice whispered lovingly.

Vitani noticed Kacy and smiled, trotting towards her. "My my, if it isn't Kacy!" she called out, walking faster.

"Well haven't you grown miss Vitani. Has Marzipan seen you yet?" Kacy smiled at Vitani and liked what she saw. Herex Jr. and Munar stared at her with admiration while Macy sighed, eager to get on with her first hunt.

Teferi continued to purr and sat beside Dollu as he nuzzled her head over and over again.

"Yes, my hasn't he grown up! I see your cubs are grown?" she asked, leaning her her a little to the right so she could look at them. Vitani smiled at them, noticing how big the boys were and how pretty Macy had grown to be.

"You know when the cubs are born we won't have much privacy." she stated, wrapping her paws around him and pulling him into a hug. She licked his face as he nuzzled her.

"Yes, Moyo, and I are proud of them. See how much HJ has grown? He was just a tiny cub when you first saw him. Munar has also grown a lot, to my glee, for he was so tiny. And Macy, sweet little Macy." Kacy looked at her children with pride, but then noticed how impatient they looked. "Oh dear. I better get a move on. They are excited about their first individual hunts and I shouldn't keep them waiting." She smiled at Vitani and led her children off at a fast trot. Just then, a young lioness raced down the trail, and ran smack into Vitani. "Oops!!!! Sorry ma'am. I was just trying to catch up with HJ." The gorgeous reddish silver lioness apologized, but when she tried to run off, a commanding voice stopped her in her tracks. "Tali!!!!!! You are not ready for your first hunt yet. Come back here right now." Cali appeared at the top of the trail and frowned at her daughter. Tali lowered her head and tail and slowly walked back to her mother. Whisper and Stormfly came back up the trail, dragging a gazelle, and disappeared into the den with it. They laid it in front of their aged mother, who couldn't hunt anymore, she smiled with her old teeth broken, worn down in places, and moved her crippled back leg into a more comfortable position so she could eat with her sweet daughters. "Thank you girls. You make this old lioness proud." Astrid smiled with a soft look and Whisper and Stormfly purred against her.

"Either they listen to me or they'll get a slap. I will have my privacy with you." Teferi growled and he meant it.

Vitani trotted off to a shady tree near the Great Rock, lying down under it and looking out at the Savannah. A soft smile brightened her face as she waited for a sign of Marzipan. There were so many questions to ask, so many moments to regain from all the years.

Dollu giggled, looking at his now serious face to emphasize what he meant. "But Mama doesn't have to obey, I am of my own free will." she spoke in a joking tone, rubbing her nose playfully against his nose.

Teferi cracked up and laughed hardheartedly with a big grin.

Tali sneaked away from her mother once more, but not to try hunting, but to talk to this new lioness. She was curious about her and wanted to get to know her. Though she knew that she was betrothed to HJ, she wanted to be free for awhile, and not have to settle down just yet.

A grin broke across her face also as she laughed with him. She took advantage of this moment to go under him and tickle him repeatedly.

Vitani noticed a lioness coming her way, she was young it seemed. She stayed in her position, wondering why on earth this lioness was coming her way. The lioness felt in no way familiar to her.

"Hi!!! I'm Princess Tali. Prince Valido and Queen Cali's only daughter. What's your name?" She smiled at Vitani, admiring her long and lean built, with her strong muscles, bright blue eyes, and golden tan pelt.

Teferi laughed and bolted into the tall golden grass.
