Meeku growled leaping of his mother and walking to his father in little paw steps "Outlander get back!" he said with a squeak and lept at his fathers mane and growled aloud. Jarki growled and followed "Yah mean outlander!" she said biting her fathers tail with a giggle. Syrup meanwhile still slept rolling over with a grunt.

Sully almost roared out loud, for Jarki's teeth hurt, and then Rajia grabbed his father's ear and pulled hard. Sully groaned but chuckled as he played with his cubs. "I sense danger little ones. Be good cubs and go inside. There is something in the bushes."

Lalita smiled when she heard BJ's words. "I think he will like that, don't you Simba?" She asked. She watched as Kopa Nuzzled back and starting d to play with her. She smiled, " look, he is already taken to her as a playmate."

Syrup immediatly got up with a swift bounce as she herded her little cubs to the back of the den. Meeku growled "I can fight with daddy, mommy ill protect you okay!" he said as Syrup grabbed his scruff and placed him under a rock with his siblings. Then the queen hid down on the opposite side so she could leap out at them.

Jewl growled sniffing the air "State your name!" she growled looking around the open entrance of the cave. Neck fur bristling and ready to attack whoever the danger was.

Kunsie and Jasiri sniffed the two little girls and smiled. BJ seemed to like Kopa a lot more than the other little girls.

About one hundred miles away, far to the north, beyond the Snowy Kingdom, walked a dark brown lion, with a dark brown almost black mane, covered with scars. He traveled ahead of a young lioness, who carried a young male cub, and all three were hungry. Not having a home to call their own, they struggled to find food to eat, and she was still nursing their son. His name was Kody, her name was Lily, and their son's name was Kodiak. He was almost 9 years old, his mate was only 4 years old, and their son was just 8 weeks old. He was no king, had no desire to be a king, though he had been brought up to be a king when he was younger, and just wanted a stable land where he could raise his son to be a fine king himself.

A hiss, then fiery eyes flashed through the darkness, and Sully snarled. "One who eats full grown lions and lionesses." A slivering body came out of the jungle and raised itself up. Sully backed off, but still snarled. "Get the cubs and Syrup out of here Jewl!!! I can take this guy on.... I think."

Lalita pushed Limbi and Lasari towards the other girls" thus is Limbi and Lasari," she said to the other cubs. "And if you'd like they can be your playmates as well" she smiled at her daughters as the glanced up at her unsure.

(Can I make a new lioness? Do I have yo put her in the sign ups?)

(Nah, not if you're already signed up, and accepted.)

Jewl nodded backing off and going to the queen "C'mon Queen Syrup!" she said limping on her injured paw and picking up Meeku by his scruff. Syrup nodded picking up Jarki and Rajia on her back as she walked out of the back exit of the cave and into the grassland to hide. Once reaching there they hid the cubs in a log and sat on one end while Jewl sat on the other end.

Roars were heard, terrifying hissing, and the trees and bushes were being torn into as Sully fought the huge anaconda; which a human had kept it as a pet, until it got too big, and turned it out into the jungle several years ago. It had grown huge, over 20' long, and had indeed eaten full grown lions.

Salik trotted across the dusty plain in search of water. It had been at least three days since she'd found any. Her white coat was covered with the yellow dust making her look brown. She saw a movement and her red eyes followed it. It was a rabbit. She crouched waiting for it to get closer and when it was close enough she pounced and killed it instantly. She quickly ate the rabbit and burried the bones. Her thirst was not satisfied by the fat little rabbit, but she figured she would make it another day of walking. Her paws were sore and red but she knew she had to keep going. Her cuts and scratches hurt from the fight she had right before she escaped from her abusive father.




Lalita smiled watching the cubs play. She couldn't be any happier than this very moment. She wanted to cherish it for as long as she lived.

The cubs were shaking and breathing hard a they wanted there dad to be safe. Syrup sent up a prayer to her sister up in stars and closed her eyes and covered he ears with her paws. Jewl did the same and closed her eyes as she let out a sigh wishing Solo was there.

Suddenly, nothing........... Not a sound. Rajia trembled, eyes huge, when something began to move in the bushes just on the outskirts of the jungle.

Breathing deeply, for he was trying desperately to catch his breath, Sully dragged the huge anaconda out of the jungle, and laid it out for his cubs to see. "Yuck, snake drool. Dang..... I never want to go through that again!!! That thing got me in its mouth, but I slit its throat open before it could swallow me completely. It's dead."

Syrup growled as she rushed to Sully springing ontop of him like Nala and Simba style. Pinning him she began to nuzzle and lick Sully with loud purrs "i thought I lost you!" she said licking his cheek and nuzzling his forehead. Meeku looked at his father with sparkaling eyes "Next time i kill the snake for mommy!" he said going up to it and tapping it gently. Jarki looked at the snake that was bigger than her and gulped.

"Oh no...... you will be swallowed faster than you can swallow a piece of zebra. Look at the size of it's mouth, it got me in there with plenty of room to spare." Sully shuddered and stared into Syrup's eyes.

Salik drawled out to a swift walk, she couldn't make it for much longer without water. Her red eyes searched the land for even the smallest of hints of water. She couldn't see any, she kept walking.


Lalita watched there cubs play as she groomed herself. Sh grinned and looked at Simba.
