Its an Ice Storm 🥶

It is not a good Saturday so far  or more like since Friday with the ice. The power keeps cutting out and this time it doesn’t look like it’s coming back on. An what’s fun is I have a test I gotta do today. It’s sleeting, and ice with the roads frozen and the state I’m in the governor declared a state emergency. So fun fun fun. Anyways I’ll be here till my phone dies its at like 20% cause it was charging when the power went out. So it’s gonna die soon is the point. When can it be spring and summer again? Just asking for a friend  called me. 

I agree, please can we get some spring weather? There are 8+ inches coming soon where I am, with 6 already frozen to the ground. Good thing I just bought a generator! Good luck on that test whenever you get around to it!

I agree, I'm ready for spring! Been real cold up here in Alberta lately as well, and probably about 2-3 feet on the ground I'd guess. The place I live was ranked among the top 10 coldest places on Earth last weekend!

I feel like a big baby then lol. It's snowing here in North Texas right now. I'm off the next 2 days so I'm loving this. Everyone is staying off the roads since we aren't used to dealing with this type of weather. they are telling us 3-6 inches of snow. We've been going out every hour and a half to two to go check on the chickens and goats. Everything is frozen. We got a couple frozen eggs too. 
I took the dogs out to play in the snow they had so much fun. I'm enjoying it while it's here since we don't get this often.

Its snowing here too, not to badly but we never get snow so everyone drives horribly smh

Yeah, we have no power and the generator isnt working and half the stores are closed today still. An the ice is still coming x.x snow would’ve been better.

If I could send some warmth your way I would D: I'm so sorry that stuff is still closed up and shut down

I hear ya! Sparkles got her blanket off yesterday and with wind chills getting us to -35 last night I went out with my sister to put it back on. It was a quick and unexpected thing so I didn't have gloves or anything. At one point I had to call my sister over to help me put the leg straps on the blanket as my fingers actually started sticking to the metal. It is currently -2F, feels like -17F. Supposed to warm up to the 20s mid week and I can't wait.

Wow I'm supposed to get like 6 to 10 inches of snow tonight, and it's been snowing hard all morning, so I think we're gonna get more then they are calling for. Plus we also have 5 inches on the ground right now from previous storms which the snow on the bottom is very hard and it's from like 3 weeks ago. I'm ready for warmer weather, not just to have more clothing options because in winter, I have very few but because we went and got kayaks this weekend. So, now I want to go kayaking. :/ 

Snow here too but everything is shut anyway for covid. The power being out doesn't sound good, hope that you have a generator or it gets fixed quick!!

Well good news is we got power back today!!!! 

An we finally got the generator to work for the next round that will come.

Bad news is its calling for more ice/Snow Thursday  that will be worse than last Saturday. So that will mean the power will go out again more than likely x.x I need summertime weather.
