I have to agree with what's being said. If it wasnt for art and a few friends I'd be out too. I haven't been around to long but ive been around since before the last recode and I came back after a break and it hadn't been the same. Honestly after the few games I'm beta testing finialize this may be my post too. I feel nervous to even voice my opinions and I dont like that side. I stopped even participating in the listening sessions cause I dont like wasting time and typing.

Everyone has differences of opinion and we respect that, however this topic is straying into areas that violate the Code of Conduct.

lol.. ok .. lets go with that.. you seem very defensive.. Many players have noted how rudely mods /admins have spoken to them and treated them..

Seems to me that the mods/admins are the passive aggressive ones.They do not allow players to share their negative comments/opinions without being talked down to and being spoken to in a rude manner.. I'm hardly the 'trolling, passive aggressive' one in this place.. cough cough.. 

It's time for me to stand up for the other players who share my feeling/opinions on this game and I will do this.. for them. It's not right that they are constantly treated so poorly by mods/admins and honestly. I suggest it's time to new mods/admins that are willing to listen to and provide non judgemental support to ALL the players on this game... It's called active listening... 

That having been said.. I'm sure River is ready to delete this post as fast as I reply to it.. but no worries.. screenshot has been taken.. for my fellow EVer's who need the support.. I got your back..

We welcome and encourage player suggestions posted in the suggestion forums if there is something you would like to see change in the game. Not everyone will agree on all points or support all suggestions, but suggestions that get significant support (80% or higher) and are in the best interests of all are considered for addition. In this way players provide very useful input and can help make the game even better.

Player feedback is always welcome in each month's listening session as well. Discussion in listening sessions fields thoughts and ideas on different topics from everybody. When we run across a topic that is divisive or clearly undecided, we do not make any immediate decision on it in that listening session. The next step is then to poll on that topic to get a wider range of input.

While there may be differences of opinion and some may be negative, negative feedback on its own does not suggest or produce a change. We recommend using the suggestions forums to provide constructive feedback in these cases. We welcome constructive feedback in the form of suggestions and read all of them.

Making statements against staff or the game itself does not create change, and is counter to the goals for our community. We do not censor opinions simply for being negative, but any feedback that directly attacks any site member - player, moderator, or otherwise - is not allowed. If you feel your situation has been handled unfairly or have a problem with the game we encourage you to file a support ticket.

If there is a particular topic you want to discuss with mods we are open to having one-on-one discussion about it. We encourage you to message whoever you would feel most comfortable talking to if you have concerns you'd like to discuss with us directly.

@ Myst.. thank you so much for the kind words.. I will definitely miss everyone here. I'm overwhelmed by the support and kind words I've received from so many people here. I had no idea people actually knew of me and my horses.. I'n humbled and honoured. You guys are amazing!! I'm not hard to find.. I do keep in touch with a few people here. Maybe one day I'll return... should changes to the game be made that I may find interesting.

The point I'm trying to make is, just because a suggestion is made and it gets 100% support, does not necessarily mean it's good for the game or should even be considered to be implemented..

ie.. I young teen player suggests they want pink n purple unicorns, with wings.. and a new discipline added for them, flying!
The unicorns eat candy and diamonds.. and omg they poop sparkles out their butts!!! 
A few younger kids like the idea and it gets 100% support.. So, you're tellin me you're gonna add sparkle poopin flyin unicorns that eat candy and diamonds because a few kids want it?!?! Really?!?!

Right now, the game has no direction.. It appears it's going into the direction of a children's fantasy game.. which is fine, if that is indeed the direction in which the mods/admins want the game to go in.. It needs to be determined, exactly what type of game you want EV to be. Will it be appealing to the younger crowd , adults.. or? Once you determine which direction the game is going in, then you add suggestions/ideas that emphasize, enhance that idea.. But as I said.. not all ideas/suggestions that get 100% support are necessarily good for the game.

 As River said, suggestions -no matter the content- with high support are considered and discussed to be put forward to Abbey for her decision on implementation. Just because it might have high support does not mean it will be added to the game, and mods/admin do not have control over this.  For example unicorns might be requested as a breed but will not be added as the game only focuses on realism. Big suggestions like game changes take time, the game already has its direction set as a breeding and showing game, cosmetic things are just a little something that everyone can enjoy.
