There are a ton of tutorials online. Youtube is extremely helpful when learning tutorials.

Krita's a great program, and I hope if you start using it you'll continue to do so, even if you decide to learn other programs as well. It can do so much if you take the time to learn it (which I'm still in the process of!)

@Ruby: Once I have my free time I'll go and watch some, lol. And if you want you can, but you don't really need to! @Syrien: Yeah, looks of tutorials to look at and study. And the first character I had made I edited some original lines, so I'm pretty comfortable with editing lines. Plus, I've sketched before, not on digital though, so sketching lines should be a tad bit easy for me sense it isn't that different from paper. And I agree with you there, art is an unending journey, with many difficulties ahead.
